Microsoft Intelli Optical (D58-00026) Mouse

Pros: Very easy to use, great control, forward/back buttons, works on many surfaces
Cons: None!

This IntelliMouse Optical came with my computer, so this review is for the OEM version of the mouse.

All I can say is this mouse has been wonderful. I've had it for two years now and it still works just like it's new. It easily plugs into any PC via a PS/2 or a USB port.

The control on this mouse is great. I know it's been beat on a lot about optical mice, but the cursor never jams up like it can with a mechanical mouse. You also don't need a mousepad; it will work on just about any surface except for glass.

The mouse is small and ergonomically designed; it fits comfortably in your hand, right or left.

There is a scrolling wheel, of course, and forward/back Internet browsing buttons on the side offer added functionality. They are positioned in a way so that you won't hit them accidentally.

The Verdict:
Get this mouse. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and high-quality. If only Microsoft could make their software as well as this...

This mouse is great with no problems. I bought it plugged it in and I loved it. It's good for anything whether your a gamer or if you just surf the net.If you want a great mouse for a good price than buy this mouse. It looks big but it feels great in my hands.

Pros: Quick, responsive, accurate... the extra pair of buttons are awesome for surfers.
Cons: Purchasing this contributes money to the evil empire.

Having said that, you'll maybe realize just how good a product I think the intelli-mouse is when I say it rules!

Ok, so its both my first optical, and my first scroll-wheel mouse, and my first four button mouse, all rolled into one. But let me tell you, the difference between this and the old gen of two button mechanicals is night and day.

Its accurate, responsive.... everything the old mice never were. I highly recommend this mouse. I've been using it for half a year now, and have had no reliability issues with it whatsoever.

This new mouse is great. I am going to purchase another soon! I love the added features it provides... including the choice of connections. The adapter is even included. I would definatly recomend this mouse!

Gonna take it back. I'm certain that some folks will adapt better to surfing using their right thumb (you move a round ball using your thumb as opposed to moving the entire mouse) but I don't.
