Pros: Beautiful quality sound that scales well, Awesome control panel, True bass, Good Surround mode, Elegant Design Cons: Not boomers, hiss (only at low, low volumes)
The Midiland 4030's are excellent speakers and are part of the price bracket of 3 piece computer speakers that offers a selection of very good setup's from all the major Computer Speaker leaders(ok the Labtec's suck but that is to be expected)....
Pros: Great sound, easy access control panel, great value Cons: Could have used a little more oomph, but only if you love visits from the cops
MidiLand is a little known company in the pond of Boston Acoustics, Bose, and JBL. However, the speakers they produce are of high quality and performance at a very reasonable price. No one will doubt that a sweet pair of Bose satellites are music to...
Pros: Console, good sound , value Cons: Lack of headphone jack
I am not an audiophile...not even close. I simply want a pair of speakers that give me good value for my money. When I bought my new computer I wanted a set of speakers that could handle not only quake but LOUD music as well. These midiland speakers...

The S2-4030 has treated me well. I paid 100 bucks for them before going up to college. I felt if I spent some dough on good speakers for the computer, I wouldn’t need to get a tape/CD deck for music. It has been about 3 months since I had them and I...
I bought these speakers way back when they were selling for just under $200 and I thought that they were a pretty good value. They certainly were a quantum leap over the generic set I previously had. The treble and midrange is nearly perfect; they blow...
Pros: Sound, appearance, price Cons: The hiss beyond the mid point
This product has provided quality sound at a low price to give one great value. The bass is very good as are the satelite speakers. The black speakers are in style of which I have never tired over three years. The hiss is not an issue at the mid range of total volume, but at this range, I have found, it should be loud enough anyways for a living room about 12.5 feet by 13 feet.
