Pros: Bios, monitor clarity, memory 512 Cons: slow, no floppy drive, cd access
I hovered in the electronics section of Wal-Mart perhaps longer than I should have allowed myself. My home PC was getting tired and I was spending many hours tweaking my HP Pavilion back into operation as almost any interruption appeared to make it jump ...

Almost perfection
by googlejunky ,Sep 06 '06
Pros: - It was good for the money.
- Comes with a restore disk.
Cons: It should have had a floppy drive.
Packard Bell was my first loved computer considering they lasted for more years than comnputers nowadays do.
Emachines has been my second love. I buy one every 3-4 years.
My eMachines W3050 has lived up to almost all expectations as I would want in a computer. This is actually my second Emachines I have owned.
Unlike what another reviewer said, This emachines computer allowed a Restore disk to be made when it was first purchased.
It asked if you wanted to make a DVD restore disk.
Many other computer companies don't give a restore disk at all.

Well...

Pros: Excellent value. Cons: No video card.
I bought this PC as an upgrade for my Dell. First purchased in Feb of 2005, I hadn't had one single problem with it. I've played several graphic intense video games, down loaded music, and watched movies on this. My first and only problem was playing a "massive online multiplayer" game, which was easily corrected by a video card. All in all, this unit fills my needs, and is great for a casual to moderate computer user. Never used customer support for this item.

I would highly suggest anything but this model since I've had lots of problems.

Pros: The monitor works well but it's bulky. Cons: Technical support and the cd/dvd drive.Need different firmware.
I bought this product mostly for the 512 MB and the cd/dvd burner. I like that I have no problems getting online. However, I've been having problems with the cd/dvd burner. About 6 months after I got it the cd drive stopped working and technical support told me to do all kinds of things. Apparently, it did not come with the correct firmware. Also, the techs waited until after my warranty had expired to tell me that I needed a new drive. I also don't like that the only way to restore it is with a disk. I would highly suggest not buying this product due to the lack of appropriate technical support and the restore process. Try a Dell where you can restore with F10 key and have good tech support

Pros: Fast dsl/cable easily matched with base machine Cons: comes standard with 512 ram
This machine runs extremely well. i have owned mine over a year and had no problems with it. If you want to have a better performance buy more ram. For it's price this machine is top of the line.
