Pros: resturant style dining, good chocolate chip cookies Cons: not a lot of variety
Dorm food, you've heard the horror stories about it. The unidentifable stuff, the same food served days in a row or having a particular meat one night and it magically appearing as soup the next day. I have to admit, these have happened to me. ...

Pros: lots of people, lots of parties, lots of fun! Cons: Cost $$$ to go to school!
UW-Madison is an awesome school. I'm originally from Minnesota, so Madison is close enough, but far enough away from home for me. I love Madison because with over 40,000+ students, you're bound to make a ton of friends and meet a lot of new people....

Pros: Communtity feel, groups offered Cons: Homogenous student body
I've found this campus to be fun, and since it is so big, it offers a large number of extra curricular activities. However, I've found that socially, there isn't too much variety in what people seem to do. A large portion of the campus is really into...

Pros: fun Cons: hard work
I liked UW-Madison so much that even though I graduated in December 1999 I have decided to stay here in Madison for at least another year or so. Social life in this town is so great that you will always have things to do.
Drinking dominates...
