Pros: Nice inexpensive cd player. Cons: It might be hard to find.
I was trying to get myself a more up-to-date sound system that meets growing trend digital sound over analog sound. This is the cd player that covers the music side of it. It has the optical cable input for the digital sound that is nice and clear as...
Pros: Inexpensive yet top quality, excellent features including optical audio out connection to amplifier/receiver. Cons: It is possible that it is now discontinued, might be hard to find.
The Yamaha CDC-575 CD Player is a 5 disc carousel CD changer which is a terrific value for the money. This unit offers terrific sound quality (due to an optical link to your amp/receiver), a handsome design, Play/Exchange (which allows changing...
Pros: Beautiful natural sound, good price
Cons: Must put cd 'exactly' in drawer to close it
I am not or ever will be a fan of the ipod, i cannot stomach the sound of MP3 songs: the tell tale garbage can lid cymbal sound, cat scratch vocal yelping and lack of any real bass makes me cringe, my nervous system attacked with bolts of electricity, ...
Pros: PlayXchange feature, program play, easy to use, very cheap now. Cons: none I could think of......
I brought this CD-changer to go along with my Yamaha RX-496 receiver and JBL D38 speakers. I have been using it for more than a year now, so I have it completely figured out. I was surprised- theres nothing bad about it!!! This is one good changer for...
Pros: Build quality, sound, price, looks, display, remote Cons: access to back 2 cd trays is awkward, might be discontinued soon
I bought the next model up from this one, the CDC-675. They have the same electronics inside them, and from what I've heard they sound exactly the same. I'll explain the difference between the two models before my original review of the CDC-675 at...
Yamaha's CDC-575 is a very basic five-disc carousel changer, which makes it the least expensive CD changer ever offered by Yamaha. The lack of a high price tag shouldn't scare anyone away from it, because its sound quality is robust. Like the...
Durable, inexpensive, excellent sound by ejvd ,Nov 23 '08
Pros: Inexpensive, reliable, great sound, easy to use. Cons: A bit noisy going from CD to CD in carousel mode.
I have had this CD changer for years, and have never had a single problem with it. It's a little noisy going from cd to cd in the random mode, but it's simple to use, and a great product. I got it on e-bay several years ago, without a remote, but another Yamaha remote works, I usually just load it up, put it on random, and away it goes. Display is easy to see, even at a distance. Highly recommended. In general, I have found that Yamaha's audio products (CD players, FM tuners, amplifiers) are well built, trouble free, and offer excellent quality for the $.
