Pros: Low APR, great customer service Cons: occasional calls and charged fees
Citibank was one of the first companies to offer me a credit card when I first started college. They had a fairly reasonable APR, and only called me about once a week or every two weeks to offer me a new service, card protection, etc. When I decided I...

Pros: excellent service,no annual fee Cons: very quick to assess late charges
I've been a Citibank customer for 4 years now, and have always received excellent service from them. I started off with a standard car, and now have a Platinum, which comes with a few more features, like added travel insurance. I always used to pay my...

Pros: Easy to get approved Cons: High interest rates, lousy service.
I like credit cards. I have always had at least three or four cards since I turned 18 four years ago. Citibank was one of the first cards that I received, possibly because of their aggressive marketing college marketing tactics. While the brand name is...

Pros: similar to other cards in rates and offers Cons: outrageous late fees and an inability to sort the good from the bad. See below.
Something happened to my April statement from Citibank Quicken Visa. I lost it, the mail lost it, or Citibank sent it somewhere. I just didn't receive it. On that statement was a $12.95 charge for something (who knows what, I never got it). My May...

Pros: The current issuer for the Quicken credit cards. Cons: Makes misleading or fraudulent promotional offers and provides poor customer service.
On my January, 2001 Quicken Visa statement in the Cardmembers News section, the card issuer, Citibank U.S.A., made the following promotional offer:
GET A 1% REBATE ON ALL YOUR PURCHASES FROM NOW UNTIL JANUARY 31, 2001. POST-HOLIDAY SHOPPING...

Pros: 3.9 for a full year Cons: None
First of all, I am finally recovering from very very bad credit. My husband has & has always had great credit. I hated having to combine our credit for our mortgage, but it was a great learning experience. We got our mortgage with no problem, and...

Pros: I don't have to do business with them anymore. Cons: Their customer service.
Citibank Visa was my first credit card ever! I was in a Freshman in College. On the way to class their were credit card reps lined up and down the hall trying to hustle us unsuspecting young adults to be lured into a life of debt. To someone who had...

Pros: it's a credit card they'll give to almost anyone Cons: just don't get in the position where you have to speak with them
Citibank, just like any other bank, is in the business for profits. However, the most publicly approved banking institutions are those who take an active role in seducing their potential and current customers. That is the way the game is played, and to...

Pros: upper management, rates Cons: customer service staff, reliability
I have had a rollercoaster ride with my Citibank Visa Charge Card. When I was in College, I received a Citibank card and used it for books, etc. while in school. I paid off the balance (or close to it) each month and sent in a payment in October of...

Pros: About average as far as credit cards go these days, but nice ads on TV Cons: Nothing special about them. Poor customer service.
I don't expect much from credit card companies these days. They've all become masters at milking even the most conscientious consumers for every last dollar, and Citibank is no exception. As a credit card, my Citibank Visa as performed unexceptionally...

Pros: Electronic convenience Cons: Annoyed telephone customer service staff
We have used Citibank's Sony Card for almost two years now. It was one we did not close in the credit card game because of their excellent service. We have our account set up to be completely electronic. I don't receive statements or solicitations...

Pros: Ease of use; never any problems with billing, etc. Cons: none really
I have had a Citibank credit card for about 8 months now. I decided to get the Citibank card because I liked the idea of having 6 months interest free. I have not had a SINGLE problem with this card. I mail my payments in on time and my records are...
