Pros: Fixed rate of return
Cons: Rate based on whatever the GE crowd decides. Not market based or index based.

Was snookered into buying a GE fixed annuity two years ago. First year - 5%
Second Year - 4%
3rd year - 3%

Every interest rate on earth is UP, UP & UP -- except for GE's fixed annuities.

Not even keeping up with inflation.

The only winner, the Fidelity broker who SOLD me the product.

Surrender fees -- How about 6% in year three.

DON"T be fooled.

It's a terrible product.
