Pros: Great Rates, Great Service Cons: Not a one.
I have been a USAA member since 1980, and I would never consider changing my auto insurance carrier to any other company. USAA is particularly useful for me because I move around quite a bit in the course of my job. The company is geared toward...

Pros: Outstanding Price, Service Cons: Need a military connection to get it.
I have been a USAA policy holder for 10 years now. My opinion of them is extremely high.
Customer service is superb. I've never had to wait more than 1-2 minutes to get through to a representative. Once I've contacted them, they have been...

Pros: Customer service, rates Cons: Military associated persons only
USAA! Not just for active duty military personnel. They have clauses that allow the children of veterans, former service members, etc. I have had nothing but happiness from USAA's automobile insurance. Their service has been the best of the small...

Pros: Inexpensive, takes card of claims promptly Cons: For military members and veterans only
If you are eligible (active military, reservist, etc), I recommend USAA for auto and home insurance, as well as home warranties. I have not found better prices anywhere, including the discount companies like Geico. We have had USAA insurance for 3 ...

Pros: Great rates and very flexible Cons: None
The reason I use USAA is because this was the insurance company my husband had when we were married. Now, how we found the best aspect of this company was when we were in our second car accident within three months. We were in a four car pile up and...

Pros: Things will run smoothly when you have no accidents, tickets or claims. Cons: USAA extorts money to recoup their losses by threatening nonrenewal or dramatic premium increases.
For fifteen years we have had USAA auto insurance, faithfully paying our premiums(1000.00 a year for 4 vehicles, 3 of which are liability only and over 20 years old. We soundly recommended the company to everyone we knew who could qualify for their...

Pros: Friendly Customer Service, Lower than average rates Cons: none noted
When my husband and I got married over 10 years ago, he was still active Air Force. He joined just out of high school and enrolled in the military to work his way through college and law school. We had USAA insurance at that point, and I was amazed at...

Pros: friendly agents, fast service, error-free bills Cons: NOTHING--I am serious--except you must be military or mil-relative to be eligible
USAA I can say with all confidence is the greatest business I have ever dealt with. Bottom line: they are the cheapest, friendliest, and most error-free insurance company I have dealt with. I also recommend ALL their other services. I bank with them...

Dear Reader,
I have been with USAA for about three years, while being deployed to Germany, and Bosnia. During the time in Germany I haven't had any problem with receiving statements or updates from USAA. They have always worked with me through...

Pros: Price, service, customer satisfaction Cons: None that I know of.
If you like to talk face-to-face with your insurance company, you'll have to move to San Antonio if you want USAA. But if all you really want is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful customer service folks, this is one company that delivers. USAA is set up...

Pros: Great rates and service, reputable Cons: To qualify for auto insurance no DUI/DWI
I have been a member of USAA since 1997 and have to say that I have been nothing but pleased with their service and coverage. Origionally the company was limited to providing insurance to military officers and their dependents. In 1997 the company...

Pros: the best insurance company, no local agents Cons: no local agents
I purchased my first USAA policy in 1974 when I was an ROTC cadet. I have been with them ever since for home, car, and life insurance.
They are just great. They have always been leaders in automation, and even though you may talk to a...

Pros: Good rates. Great Customer Service. Cons: Limited eligibility.
In a time when good customer service seems to have disappeared, USAA seems to be a hold out in that area. Customer service seems to be a priority. I have found USAA's representatives to be very friendly. Yet they maintain a very professional stance....

Pros: Speed, cost, integrity Cons: Occasional use of outside companies
I have been insured by USAA since 1984. As a member I have never been turned down for a claim, nor have I had a problem resolving a fair compensation for the 4 claims I've had since 1984. The insurance is very affordable. And as a bonus, they offer a...
