Pros: Easily makes a great cup of Espresso. Easy to clean & trouble-free during warranty

Pros: Slick industrial design, fully automatic.
Cons: Better values out there, another relabeled machine.

I used to be a big fan or Krups until I started looks at espresso machines outside of department stores. After that they all seemed to be good looking, yet poorly working appliances for the kitchen. The Orechestro made me rethink things a bit.

The Krups Orchestro Espresso Machine 889 has worked well the past 18 months. Now a seal has ruptured in the coffee delivery system. A local authorized Krups service center attempted to fix the problem by epoxy gluing the gasket. They did this because they are unable to get the part from Krups. In fact Krups encourages sending this unit into them which costs at least $200. Unfortunately the repaired seal only held for about 1 week and then leaked again

The local service center could repair the problem if they had the part.

Krups seems to positioning this machine as essentially a disposable product when it breaks.

I have sent emails to Krups via their web site, but they have never responded.

This is disturbing. Would not buy this product again.
