Pros: Sturdy and built to last. A real multi-tasker in the kitchen Cons: Quite heavy and requires a decent sized footprint on your counter
The KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer is a serious kitchen multi-tasker due to the variety of beaters (dough hook, whisk, paddle) it comes with as well as the many additional attachments (grinders, choppers, etc.) you can use with it. I received mine ...

Pros: Easy to clean, powerful motor, multiple uses, extreme durability Cons: Heavy weight makes it difficult to carry if you aren't real strong in the upper arm area
The KitchenAid K45SS is fantastic. I am both an avid baker and cook. This mixer is powerful like a Mac truck (I also own a Dualite toaster, which I think is manufactured by the Mac truck company!). It can handle a wide range of doughs and batters and...

Pros: Power, Bowl Size, Available Attachments Cons: Size-Takes up a lot of counter space
This summer, I moved out on my own for the first time and found that I needed a lot of appliances that I had never considered essential before. I am an avid cook and I love to bake, so I put a mixer on my birthday list. My parents bought me a...

Pros: Durability.
Sturdiness.
Quality.
Gorgeous Design (stainless steel & porcelain-like finish).
Efficient: Save 3/4 the time! Cons: There are none! It's the best one available.
This is the best stand-mixer on the market! No comparison with others. The durable quality of KitchenAid lasts a lifetime; it's also build so solid, heavy & strong that you won't have to worry about it wobbling across your counter when you turn it on. ...

Pros: Reliable, great for large batches, bread Cons: Not good at mixing sides, bottom
I love my Kitchenaid. Really. Not only is is a good machine (see below) but it's bright red, and has sort of set the mood for the decor of my entire apartment!
I was once told a story of a woman who owned her grandmother's Kitchenaid stand mixer...

Pros: Hands free, fast, easy mixing Cons: None!
I received my mixer for Christmas this year from my fiance's mother. I must admit, it was my favorite gift.
I love this mixer. It mixes everything thoroughly, the paddle reaches every part of the bowl. I've made a double batch of chocolate...

Pros: Easy to use, lots of power! Cons: None
Out of all my small kitchen appliances (and I have a lot) my Kitchen Aid is my absolute favorite.
I got it as a mother's day gift almost 2 years ago, and I have been very happy with it. It is very easy to use and clean.
I use it...

Pros: High quality. Easy to operate. Very attractive/stylish design. Cons: Bit on the pricy side, but well worth the cost.
This was originally a Christmas present to my wife (She actively "hinted" that she would not be opposed to having one in her kitchen). Of course, she was truly surprised to find it wrapped under the tree. ;-)
Before we purchased our Kitchen...

Pros: Mixing a a pleasure, I use this more than my food processor Cons: very heavy! but that is a very minor 'con'for this wonderful mixer
I purchased my Kitchen Aid mixer in Sept of 2000 and after my first use I cannot believe that I waited so long to buy it. Sure they can be pricey but it is worth every cent. My aunt a baker who specialized in wedding cakes used her mixer for many, many...

Pros: wonderful cakes Cons: none
I have had my Kitchen Aid for about 3 years and I just love it. I was making a wedding cake for a friend and my Oster Kitchen Center went out. I went to Sears and bought a Kitchen Aid. I know the brand name so, I went and looked. I am glad I...

Pros: Mixes almost anything, convenient Cons: difficult to add ingredients when mixing
I love this mixer. My new kitchen has a special mixer cabinet that opens and raises to reveal a mixer to make it more convenient. Never use it! I hate things sitting on my counter but I made an exception for this beauty.
I am a homemaker...

Pros: Serves more purposes than you could ever have thought. Cons: Price; need to find on-sale.
For years we've looked at these $200 mixers in stores and thought, "no, it's just not worth the price; no, it takes up too much room...." Boy, were we wrong. After finding a great sale price, in just a month we are wondering how we ever lived...

Pros: Quick, easy to use, easy to clean Cons: takes up a lot of counter space
I've been wanting one of these mixers for a very long time. I finally got one and it's the best thing I have in my kitchen!
It works so easily and is easier to clean up that my hand mixer was! I bake more for my family now than I ever did....

Pros: Long Lasting Mixer. Cons: Heavy and expensive.
This is as close to the model I purchased back in 1980! It was one of the first things I purchased when I got out on my own. Why a Kitchenaid? My mother had hers for at least 30 years! In fact when we cleaned out her assisted living apartment a few ...

Pros: Well built, quality product, will mix just about anything Cons: Failed on kneading bread dough
This a quality mixer. It has three attachments which all serve their purposes well. The tilt back head makes changing the accessories very simple. The bowl is stainless steel and the 'sap' between accessories edges and the bowl is quite small, so it...
