Pros: location in Georgetown; excellent service Cons: smaller, blandly styled rooms, drafty windows
Boo, Dr. kboo and I stayed in the DC area over New Years 2001 while visiting family. Since I also had work to do, we needed a place that was business-friendly and dog-friendly. Having never tried a Four Seasons hotel- but having heard of their ...
Pros: Good location (if you like Georgetown) Cons: Hotel not up to Four Seasons standards, horrible service
I would first like to mention that I only travel for leisure, and like to stay at the best at the places that I go. I have stayed at several other Four Seasons in other cities, and in general, have been VERY satisfied. Having said that, there is some...
Pros: Service, Location Cons: Renovations are on-going
The Four Seasons D.C. has undergone major renovations over the past year. My wife and I stayed there in the spring of 2000, and were very disappointed with the quality of our $450 per night room. We checked out after our first night and stayed at...
Pros: Overall a nice hotel. Cons: Not the best Four Seasons Hotel. Older wing is forgotten. VERY EXPENSIVE!
We came here in October 1999 during Holloween Weekend in Georgetown. When we first walked in, we were kind of upset. There was practically no lobby. It seemed as if it was either straight to your room or straight to the bar. Check in was friendly and...
Beautiful hotel, excellent rooms by jjonak ,Jul 05 '07
Pros: Great service and location Cons: None
As has been our experience with other Four Seasons hotels, this hotel offers top notch service, and its rooms were remodeled recently enough, that they are gorgeous. They are suite-like in design, and they have flat sceen TVs and beautiful bathrooms. My daughter stayed in an adjoining suite with us, and the service was outstanding - they left her a stuffed animal with popcorn and a drink to enjoy a movie. They also have car service around DC, which we used some of the time (but which is sometimes busy). This alone was worth staying here to us, so we didn't have to worry about navigating and parking on the confusing streets of downtown DC. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
The service was amazing and the price was not bad because we looked around the site for the deals. Getting two rooms will lower your price considerably on any Four Seasons hotel room. The service was truly amazing though and maybe I'm just not used to good service but it was by far some of the best I've had.
When I arrived at my room they had left all sorts of things in there that were related to my personal interests. The room was beautiful and the soaps are very nice. Jelly bean bowls in the lobby as well. If I were you, I'd get a fluffer nutter sandwich. Actually I'd get a dozen. Those are really great as a snack but small. I love how they cut off the crusts. The DVD library is good and the spa is nice. There is a pool but somewhat hard to get to. Enjoy yourself and have fun with room service because it's nice!
