Big list of guns
by Granto ,Feb 03 '04
Pros: Lots of classifieds for specific models Cons: No articles or reviews.
Having subscribed to the Shotgun News for a couple years, I had heard that Gun List was good too, and had different stuff. So I subscribed.
They're basically the same thing, from two different publishers. The ads are 99% the same as the ones in Shotgun News.
They do have a lot more classified ads, sorted by model of gun. The prices listed for items I'm familiar with were all higher than any other source I've seen. I know individuals often list high prices, and haggle from there, but that doesn't work so well with classifieds.
I haven't seen any articles or reviews, unlike Shotgun news.
So, if I was a collector/dealer of specific models, or needed parts/accessories for a particular hard to find model, I think Gun List would be the one I would choose.
Since I like a broader exposure to firearms, and articles, it looks like Shotgun News is the one I'd prefer.
