Pros: Very Informative, Cheap Subscription Price Cons: Targetted only at a specific group.
I really enjoy reading Super Street because of the humorous editors. This magazine is targeted at teens and people in their mid-twenties. Some people call them the next generation "hot rodders" or "rice rockets." Coverage is mainly...
Pros: Very detailed and focused only on imports Cons: none
I LOVE Super Street!!! This magazine provides all the lastest information on the import drag and show scene. Monthly features such as August's issue on turbo provides the reader with great tips on creating or upgrading psi. This magazine targets many...
If you're an import car enthusiast like me, then you probably know that there are hundreds of magazines that you could buy to get information on the import scene. But to me Super Street is the best. With some import magazines, like Import Tuner, you'll...
Pros: good overall coverage of import scene, cheap subscription Cons: reader's ride section could be improved
Hello all this review will be for the magazine "Super Street". With the rise in popularity of the import tuning scene many magazines have rose to fill a niche with readers. I found "Super Street" to be the most informative of them all. Something...
Pros: High coverage on Hondas and Acuras Cons: Not enough coverage with domestic cars and needs more when things go wrong section.
I buy this magazine because of the import car coverage in it. Ways how to improve looks and performance, mostly from reader's rides and the magazine's own project cars.
When the magazine has their project cars they are extensive in where to...
Pros: Covers many areas of imports, low price, good quality articles Cons: Lots of ads
First off, I think that Super Street is a very well rounded magazine. It has tech tips, news, new products, a fair share of articles, and many other features.
Main features - Super Street offers alot of full length articles, on...
Pros: tech section Cons: not enough product testing
There are quite a few car "junkie" magazines out on the market. Super Street is one of the better magazines available. The tech and helpful tips section actually is stuff that you could use. Instead of the products tested being for a...
Pros: Great Pics, Articles, Product Reviews, Cars and Bikini wearing ladies Cons: Too many ads, High cover price, Bit too gearheaded sometimes
I have been in love with cars since a child, and Lamborghini was my first word as a baby. Actually, it was "car" which is close enough. Most of my interactions with vehicles as a youngster weren't with the best of intentions. There was a Ford ...
Pros: Very few anymore. Maybe Back In The Day. Maybe Cons: Almost the entire magazine is a Con, read the full review to understand why.
This is a letter I have sent to Nads, the editor of Super Street on June 23rd of 2005. It informs him that he has lost a long-standing consumer of his magazine and exactly why it happened. If you are considering getting a subscription to Super Street ...
Super Street is HOT and stays above the Competition by rocks213 ,Sep 28 '03
Pros: Great way to get ideas for your car or truck Cons: NONE, and I mean NONE
Super Street has so many features that make it cool. First, is the in depth look at a different car or two every month. They ask the tough questions about it, right to the car's owner. Next, they have a large selection of high end performance parts and accessories and upgrades for imports and domestic cars and trucks. This is obviously the top choice for the car enthusiast.
Pros: Funny, very informative, nice pictures, and models out of the way. Cons: Too many ads and subscription price jumps from when you first pay.
After falling in love with the Nissan Skyline GTR I decided to look into import magazines. Import tuner was way too expensive so I found Super Street magazine.
I think the articles are great and anytime I saw a Skyline I the article more than once. The models in the mag are toned down compared to other car mags so for us women that are into cars we don't have to worry about butts and breast being pushed into our faces.
Besides the skylines that I saw the other reason I subscribed to the mag was because of Rikkdaddy. People might not get his attitude but I absolutely loved it. Each month I looked forward to reading his column and it's the first thing I read when cracking open the mag.
Whether you don't know jack or your an expert on cars you should enjoy this book. The only way I can see someone not like the book is if they're into hot rods (or some other car group), and if you hate a lot ads in your magazine.
