Pros: Simply put, funny, sad, romantic and dramatic rolled into one
Cons: The narraration could have used some work, but it was still good
Charlie Chaplin, What would you say today? Would you be happy? Would you be sad? Would laugh at todays comedies, or are they just plain bad? The "Gold Rush". The film Chaplin most wanted to be remembered by. The most timeless classic to ever hit the silver screen. Its yet another perfect film, where a lone prospector, finds himself eating his own shoes to stay alive, and yet, this is a comedy! There are moments you feel soooo sorry for the little fellow, just the look on his face in those sad scenes, but in the end, he does find the woman of his dreams and sails away into greatness. May a new century find the awesome talent of Charlie Chaplin
