A bizarre film that explores what's "Eating" the women of 1990...

Pros: A few funny lines. An attempt to be creative.
Cons: Boring, irritating, cast is too large... potentially offensive.

Maybe grating is a better title

Pros: Beth Grant--I've met her in person and like to see her in anything
Cons: costuming, script, cinematography, acting
I thought with the first couple of minutes that I had found a winner, but I really got a lot of whining. I wouldn't invite the cast to my birthday party--they're not very happy, much in part because of Martine's documentary filming focusing on women and eating disorders.

I didn't find the movie funny, and there's quite a bit of crying by the characters, too. They don't seem to be having a good time; rather, there's a lot of bickering, dredging up past disappointments, refusals of cake, and general negativity.

Eating is definitely not on par with other women-filled movies that are poignant. Pick something else from the menu!
