I thought with the first couple of minutes that I had found a winner, but I really got a lot of whining. I wouldn't invite the cast to my birthday party--they're not very happy, much in part because of Martine's documentary filming focusing on women and eating disorders.
I didn't find the movie funny, and there's quite a bit of crying by the characters, too. They don't seem to be having a good time; rather, there's a lot of bickering, dredging up past disappointments, refusals of cake, and general negativity.
Eating is definitely not on par with other women-filled movies that are poignant. Pick something else from the menu!
