Pros: It's Peter Pan, It's Disney Cons: Can be scary for little ones
For the last several weeks my daughter has been asking me "is it the 15th yet?" I kept explaining to her that Valentines Day is the 14th, and finally she said "ya, I know. But Peter Pan is in theatres on the 15th, can we go see it?" I thought she was...
Pros: Nice and familiar music, great "E.T." preview!! Cons: Bland Animation, choppy story
My favorite Disney movie of all time would have to be "Peter Pan," as nothing is more exciting than flying over Neverland! "Peter Pan" came out on VHS and DVD this past week, and when you purchased either kind, you recieved a free movie ticket to see the...
Pros: Peter Pan's back!!! Very entertaining for the kids. Cons: Hook's a little scary in a couple parts.
Several months ago, I decided to get all my old cartoons/movies from my father’s house so that my son(s) could watch them. I remember when I was small I would watch a tape repeatedly for several weeks on end. Peter Pan was one of them.
Pros: Pop, Pop, Pop -- the Octopus! And spunky Jane. Cons: Old characters stuck in the '50s.
Flash to the 2002 Peoples Choice awards.
As Steve Crikey Irwin opens the envelope to learn the name of the winner of Best Cephalopod, the camera pans to a tuxedoed Squidward, the erstwhile star of Spongebob Square Pants, with...
Pros: Excellent voice acting, very fun for kids of all ages Cons: Possibly too "kiddie" for some people, music sometimes seemed half-done
After a deluge of Disney sequels that left much to be desired, I was somewhat leery of this movie. However, I got up the courage to go see it and I'm glad I did. It was great fun and brought back many memories of watching the first movie when I was much,...
Pros: Peter Pan. Captain Hook and Smee's antics. Rich color, fantastic animation. Good message for kids. Cons: Jane character lacking depth. Music not as good as in the classic.
Peter Pan is my hero. If I were single, he would be a strong contender for my affection. He’s fun, mischievous, silly, brave and strong. He knows all the girls want him and he loves them all. He fights with honor for what he believes and never...
Pros: Delightful return to "classic" animation style and story Cons: Songs aren't quite as memorable as in the original, but that's a minor quibble
If you go to see Return to Neverland with an audience of kids, you'll hear an interesting sound. It's the quiet chatter of children--not bored children making conversation, but the oohing and aahing and "What's going to happen now?" that you...
Pros: Good animation, Peter looks the same Cons: Too predictable
Well, if you remember the original Peter Pan, then you really don't have to see this movie. It is almost the same with a few character changes. Wendy has grown up (OH NOO!) and has her own kids now and she is telling them about Peter but her daughter,...
Pros: Great sequel full of fun Cons: Music lacks what you expect from Disney
This movie is perfect in timing for our nation and world. Since the movie is based at the time of World War II it shows the lose of hope and trust (and pixie dust).
Jane, Wendy's daughter, is trying to grow up too fast and she is losing her...
Pros: A great family movie, more like classic Disney movies than others recently. Cons: The soundtrack is lacking the classic feel. Neverland can be a little scary.
My 3 year old son was in awe when he first saw the trailer for Neverland on television. He talked of nothing else until we the film. It was a wonderful outing for him. The film is based on what we all loved from Peter Pan, and this is done...
Pros: Great songs, love idea for letting kids make believe Cons: none at this time
Disney has done it again. This movie comes in DVD, being priced at 19.99, and VHS priced at 15.99. Note these our prices at Wal-Mart. We have the DVD format. There are many features in this format that you would not get in VHS.
There are not many...
The magic that is Neverland by codename-x ,Feb 09 '05
Pros: Wonderful animation, good soundtrack Cons: The octopus was slightly annoying with his "popping".
This has to be my favorite Disney Sequel. The animation was wonderful! The music, though not as powerful as a true Disney Classic, was great.
I found the storyline good, and it was nice to see a Tomboy get swept away to Neverland. Seeing a war torn country really breathes a sense of realism to an otherwise completely fictional story.
Overall I would recommend this movie to one and all. It's worth having in your personal library.
