To be honest I had never read the book (arrrgh! I know right!) and I had never intended on watching the films. It was the fault of an ex boyfriend dragging me to the cinema to see it that I came to like it.

Thankfully, I was given the trilogy for christmas and although I'm still having trouble convincing my current boyfriend to watch it I have to say it's a great film.

If you don't have a good few hours free then you won't have time to watch this as it's very lengthy.

What I love about it is that each character has their own story that you get to witness and there's development for each one. There's plenty of twists and action to keep you hooked.

Lord of the Rings is much like Marmite, you either will love it or hate it.

Ok, so it's a little pricey but it is so worth it! I love to watch the interviews and behind the scenes disks and I get probably too excited over the extended scenes! I definetley recomend this product! All LOTR fans will faint with joy if they purchase this set.
