The park is beautiful (with the exception that they do not have the budget to pay someone to cut the grass, which is not their fault). Though there were many places I would have liked to have seen but could not due to the overgrowth, this place is beautiful. This is too beautiful a place to be right smack dab in the middle of nasty, which is the city itself; however, if you have the chance to visit I would, only stay at the Battlefield Inn and enjoy the park. Do some research before you go and enjoy yourself.
