Manistee River Loop: Two Uniquely Different Trails, One Enjoyable Weekend

Pros: Great views, good campsites, variable hiking difficulty
Cons: Some bugs, confusing trail connection, no water on west side
Trail Description: The entire loop travels up and down ridges, over small hills, and along the riverside. The North Country and Manistee River Trail are both well marked with blue blazes. The trail itself is hard packed dirt and is easy to follow....
