AudioSource System 230 / 235 Speaker System

Pros: Nice look with quality feel, decent sound, especially for movies, very good value overall.
Cons: Silver finish not very durable, simple sub with external power supply and no auto-sensing.

Pros: 1 word-PRICE!!!! (and)sound from surround sound speakers and sub during movies.
Cons: Sub muddy at high volume (its only an 8") Sub doesnt look that sturdy

I was looking for the cheapest home theather system out there but with decent reviews. Well, I looked everywhere and no one had written a single review, but I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. It was $31 dollars on Ebay but with $20 shipping. I got the 235 model which is the silver set.
When i finally got them in the mail i hooked them up right away. First I did the subwoofer with my existing speakers. The sub didnt sound too good at high levels, it got really muddy. So i adjusted the volume on the sub and got it to where it sounded alright with a music CD. But then i hoooked up the surround sound speakers and they sounded great! I put in a movie (Lord of the rings) and was amazed at the subwoofer's power. I thought i was going to hate the sub, but with movies, it was great! The surround sound speakers were a little muddy with my bass all the way up on my reciever, but that's expected. When i turned the bass down 1 notch, they sounded beautiful! The center channel also amazed me.
