Pros: Outstanding vehicle, accessorized to the max, horsepower to spare in the lap of luxury. Cons: For that kind of money, give me a screen bigger than 7 inches! The Bottom Line: Once you drive this vehicle, you will never go back to a Ford or a Dodge SUV. The ride is so much better!
August 30th, during the employee discount, my husband and I decided to purchase our second Yukon Denali. This time we chose the upgraded wheel package, the backup camera, Navigational system, the DVD player and other extras. We couldn't be happier. We ...

Pros: Smooth ride with all the extras! Cons: Uses quite a bit of gas. The Bottom Line: Great purchase if you have a big family.
We purchased the Yukon used from a local dealership. We have never purchased used before but are getting to the point where it seems like the only way to go. We have ended up upside down in so many new cars before and the leases always seem such a waste. ...

One fantastic vehicle!

Pros: Ultra comfortable. Ultra confident. Flawless ride and engineering. Cons: Fuel mileage could be better, but hey, it's a large SUV with a big V8.
I was so fortunate to find an excellent used Yukon XL. I cannot begin to tell you how much of a fantastic vehicle this is.
I replaced my 1993 Chev Suburban with this Yukon and it was like going from coach class to 1st class.
My '05 has all the bells and whistles save for a sunroof.
The All wheel drive with ultra-low 4wheel drive will get you through just about anything infront of you. Its performance in the snow was flawless and confident. Regular on road driving is pretty smooth considering that this ride is built on a truck platform.
The interior is very comfortable with full leather throughout, heated seats, dual climate control and rear a/c. There simply is no better way to take a long distance road trip with everything you need and no lack for space.
My kids love the DVD player and 10 speaker Bose acoustic sound system.
I look forward to keeping this Yukon for many years.

Beast with XTRA room!

Pros: Size, Power, Get up and go Cons: Needs to have split seats for the 3rd row.
More interior room than a Excursion, and better gas milage to boot. The GMC Yukon XL is a fantastic vehicle with bags of room. It is the only vehicle that will house two adults, three children in car seats on the second row, and two adults and a child in the rear.
Last year we went to the beach in this mamoth. We had the following:
4 children
4 adults
1 canoe on top of roof
1 x-cargo on top of roof
trunk completely full of luggage
trailer completely full of luggage and motorcycle
We were all carried in complete comfort. The 5.7 liter Vortec engine makes light work of any load, and I even got 18 mpg on the highway! I have the 4x4 package, not that we use it much in the south.
If you have lots of kids, or need lots of space this is the vehicle for you. Why settle with a Tahoe when a Suburban/Yukon XL gets the same gas milage with the added space?
Reccomend this vehicle to anyone. Very reliable and dependable. Well done GMC.
