Pros: Interior space and versatility, fuel economy, Honda rep for reliability Cons: Falling behind in interior ambiance, handling, and performance. The Bottom Line: Still a good vehicle, but growing long in tooth and no longer best-in-class.

Pros: Dependable, solidly built, roomy, 5 star crash rating Cons: Color selection, (no purple), cloth fabric feels cheap, rear seats don't fold down completely The Bottom Line: There's a reason this is my 3rd Honda: Reliability, safety, price point, attention to detail, excellent resale stats and overall solid value.
With almost 80,000 miles on my dependable 1996 Honda Accord LX, my head was on a swivel each time a great looking Honda CR-V cruised by. On the lookout for dependability, versatility, passenger safety, creature comfort and gas-sipping ...

Pros: excellent safety rating; reputation for reliability; good clearance from ground Cons: poorly designed interior; extremely sluggish automatic transmission The Bottom Line: safe and reliable; rides nice and high; annoying design flaws; definitely avoid the sluggish automatic transmission
I recently bought a 2005 Honda CR-V EX automatic transmission, after having driven a 1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe manual transmission for many years. I wanted a mini-SUV because I commute into D.C. several times a week, and wanted to be able to see ...

We needed to replace our 2002 Mazda Protege5. With 53000 miles on it, it was a good, reliable car, but we wanted something a little more suited to the weather and terrain in our area. That means something with AWD. Our short list was the Subaru ...

Pros: This small/mid SUV looks nice, rides well and is competitively priced Cons: Somewhat underpowered engine The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone for its good looks and great value
I needed a small SUV for daily commuting and systematically narrowed the list to two choices: The Honda CR-V SE and Toyota RAV4. While both are great cars and will get the job done, the CR-V beat out the RAV4 for three reasons: Size, value, and ...

Pros: Its a Honda, Powerful, quiet, smooth, great looking, and an outstanding value. Cons: Driver leg room for tall people. Getting one sold out from under you. The Bottom Line: If you can do it get a Honda. Not just the CR-V, any model they offer that meets your needs. You cannot beat the value for your money.
I was driving a fully loaded 2000 Ford Ranger, until it nearly caught fire. I found myself having to make a decision, buy a new Honda, which I had been contemplating doing at the model year end anyway, or spend a bunch of money, and waste a lot of time ...

I purchased a new 2005 Honda CRV EX with automatic transmission about a month ago and am extremely pleased. At first, I thought it would be a difficult adjustment from driving a Lexus IS300, but it hasn't been. Not that the CRV is a luxury vehicle, ...

Pros: Roomy, practical, 25 MPG with "4WD" Cons: Bad tires, noisy brakes, not really 4WD The Bottom Line: The CR-V has a good price and MPG, but if you want real quality a Toyota RAV4 may be a better, but more expensive, choice.
We purchased this Honda CR-V 4WD LX in Dec. 2004 for my wife, to replace her 1999 Toyota RAV4. She loved the RAV, but I convinced her that Honda engineering was superior, even if Honda's quality wasn't quite that of Toyota. Late in the year, just before ...
