Pros: Very compact, convenient design and surprising bass output for it's size. Cons: If you like waking up your neighbors, this isn't the subwoofer for you.
Let me start off by stating that I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain Edition with the soft top. One of a Jeep owner's biggest concerns is vehicle security. A thief can enter a vehicle by simply cutting or unzipping the windows and have his way ...

The worst car audio component I've ever used.
by fultine87 ,Apr 26 '06
Pros: Small size, attractive package, all wiring included and very easy installation. Great Amp! Cons: Terrible sound quality and tiny DB level. Poor construction. Awful driver.
As I was looking for a small sub woofer to fit into my Saturn SC2 without taking up much space, I purchased a new Clarion SRV303. I wasn't expecting enormous bass, or even much in the 20-50hz range at all (only 7" driver), and I didn't get any. In fact, I didn't get any audible bass whatsover, all I got in terms of sound was distortion and resonance. This unit rattled and popped at such low volume levels, I found myself wondering how this could upgrade any car audio system. It certainly wouldn't have improved bass response in the stock system I used to have, let alone the aftermarket one now installed (6002Is front, HR6.1s rear). I dismantled the unit to find a tiny driver with a bafflingly small and short throw voice coil. This unit's saving grace is the extremely potent amplifier, which I re-wired to power a Bazooka 12" sub woofer in the trunk.

Not great, but not bad
by heynow04 ,Oct 06 '04
Pros: small, cheap, self-amplified Cons: none
I bought this for my 4-seater. I think it was intended for smaller cars or trucks, but I didn't want to buy a big, trunk-hogging sub.
You're not going to wake up the neighbors with this one, but if you're looking for adequate bass to give your music depth, this is it.
If you want more bass from a self-amplified sub and are willing to sacrifice more space (and money), try the Infinity Basslink.

Don't waste your money!
by hpdrifter85 ,May 16 '06
Pros: size Cons: No audio difference at all. Doesn't improve sound or add bass!
I purchased this unit for my 2001 Jeep wrangler largely because of the size. I didn't want to fill the only usable space up with one of those giant bazooka tubes or try and cut holes in my seats to fit speakers in. Knowing this, I understood I wasn't going to get earth shattering thump. I just wanted a little bottom for the 5 and 1/4 rounds mounted in the sound bar. I have a new Apline deck and infinity speakers. My alpine Deck has RCA outputs for Subs which I ran this unit to. I have two high end subwoffers I use in my home audio systems and have added several cheap ones to computer speaker systems, so I believe I have a fair expectation as to what I should have got. I looked at the Kenwood unit but it was a larger enclosure, smaller speaker and lower watts so I went with this unit. WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT! You hear virtually no difference whatsoever! Again I'm not looking for booming thump, just wanted a fuller sound. This thing sounds lousy! Didn't add anything! Don't waste your money on this product!
