Pros: Easy To Use, Simple Menu Interface, Not Expensive, But Takes Great Pictures Cons: Not for advanced for anyone that takes a lot of pictures
I recently got into the digital camera thing after putting it off for a while. I read up on it through magazines, websites, & online TV shows through Tech TV. I was looking for a 3 megapixel camera to start out with & learn how to use before later on ...

Pros: 3 real megapixels, Macro focus, cheap Cons: slow operation, poor focus and exposure, poor light sensitivity, forgets settings
I got this camera as a free pack-in with a computer and it gave me only frustration until I bought a different camera. There are so many things wrong with it... It takes a long time to turn on. The ISO film speed is automatic at 100 or 200. That's a slow ...

Pretty good value for money
by runcorners ,May 04 '04
Pros: Cheap, good quality pics, easy to use Cons: LCD a bit iffy, battery life so-so
I have never owned a digital camera before, so for the not too clued up of us all, this camera is good value for money. It's not much to look at, but then again I'm not a poser. I certainly does the job it says it will, and although it may not be up there with the big names, I reckon it comes fairly close.
Connectivity to the PC is painless, and transfer of files etc is easy. I have not used or examined all its claimed features, but for what I use it for, it is perfect. If I want studio quality photo's, I have a good old fashioned SLR.
Picture quality is good, and certainly a lot better than the cheaper versions of the big named brands, so once again, if you are not just flashing your camera around to show that you have a trendy one, and may actually want to take some halfway decent pics...........this one is for you!

This Is A Great Camera
by glashock ,Feb 24 '04
Pros: Easy to use, great pictures and very easy to transfer to the computer. Cons: The battery life is a problem. Don't use the LCD. It drains the batteries.
I have never had a digital camera before and price was important. I did some research as to what would be important in a digital and when I looked at options versus price I found the Concord EyeQ 3340z to be a good choice. I have had it for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. Yes, I do have the problem with the batteries going very fast (it comes with rechargeable batteries along with a charger)but I looked at the web site and they gave some ideas how to help with the situation. Namely, do not use the LCD. I have found the pictures to be wonderful, even at the lowest resolution. I think that this is a perfect digital camera for someone to start out with. It comes with 2 very good manuals and the camera itself it pretty intuitive.
