The Dell was my first laptop I've ever owned, I was actually ready to buy the 8200 that my friend has but I heard of the 8500 coming out very soon so I waited a few weeks before buying it.
Laptops are not as powerful as desktops, so if you are doing processor intensive work be sure to get the fasted hard drive possible.
