Pros: reason we bought was for its ability to convert to a toddler bed.
Cons: paint comes off too easy.

We bought the crib on November 3, 2002 through Sears in Canada. Our son was born on December 10, so we've had the crib in his room for less than a year. This morning, December 1, 2003, my Wife went to get our son out of bed and found that he had been chewing on the railing and his entire mouth was covered in paint chips - his lower teeth had chewed off the paint from the bottom part of the railing! I've called poison control to find out that the paint isn't toxic (no lead, or anything like that), but I just can't believe that it would come off so easily! To add to the problem, I just got off the phone with Sears and they tell me I have to contact the manufacturer directly. By the way, this crib is made on behalf of Fisher-Price by a company in British Columbia called Storkcraft.

Pros: Very durable. The non-painted version doesn't have paint chips.
Cons: Legs can get stuck in the rails!

We bought this crib almost four years ago at a Toys'R'Us in Newfoundland, Canada, for our older son. As someone else mentioned, it has no solid headboard. Our older son had no troubles with it except that he fell out of the "toddler" bed. We didn't really use it for a toddler bed with him because he was always afraid to fall out.

The big problem we have had is with our younger son. He is 15 months old, and he gets his legs trapped between the railings. Yesterday we could only get him free by pouring olive oil on his leg and pulling hard! Luckily he hasn't been seriously hurt YET.

We just received the crib last night and spent an hour assembling. The instructions were good but not great - could have saved time if they explained one small area better but, the assembly was easy. We worried about the quality of the crib because of the price but our worries appear unfounded. The crib is beautiful and we love the quiet drop-side railing (quieter than our more expensive crib from Babies R' Us). The standard mattress fits perfectly. Buyers should note that the crib we received is slightly different from the one on the Walmart.com website. On the website, the crib has a solid headboard and the opposiste side has a railing-like endboard (with rods - not solid) whereas BOTH ends of our crib was railing-like. Since we only received the crib last night, we don't know how long it will last. All four sides and the mattress support seem slightly thinner than more expensive cribs but it doesn't seem flimsy. For the price, I think it is a good deal so far.
