Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to use, Runs smoothly with no hassles, Portable & Lightweight Cons: none
I was quite happy with my old printer Lexmark Z series until it was getting very hard to find replacement ink cartridges. As a seller on Ebay, my printer is very important for printing out shipping labels. I also used it for printing out pictures, ...
Pros: Cheap, nice print quality. Cons: Only about 200 pages per cartridge; jams frequently.
I picked up my HP 3520 at Wal-Mart for $39.95. I'm happy with it for that price (especially since it came with some extras, including photo-quality paper and software), but I wouldn't recommend it for "industrial strength" use. If you use your printer a ...
Pros: cheap cheap cheap printing on the cheap Cons: none
I am a contractor by trade, and was in need of having a portable printer for making estimates on the go. I have a laptop, but no printer, so i had to run home type the estimate, print it, then either email it to the customers, or bring it by their house. ...
Pros: Cheap, decent quality, quiet, small, few jams Cons: High ink costs mean the longer you use it, the worse a deal it becomes.
Got this for $39 or so at Target or Wal Mart or wherever a few months ago. I needed a printer quick, figuring I'd get a new one soon so I just wanted a cheap one. I looked at the Lexmark printers but then realized Lexmark charges $30+ for ink ...
Pros: Small, durable, lightweight. Cons: Not so fast to print, constant jams, drains ink quickly
I purchased the HP DeskJet 3520 printer in March 2004. It only cost $40.00 at my local Wal-Mart. The printer comes with a tiny ink cartridge to get you up and running, along with some glossy photo paper. Hooking up this printer is a major breeze. ...
Pros: Cost to Quality, Speed is good enough, small enough to fit on most desks Cons: Drinks Ink unless it has both ink cartridges installed, Not best for photos
I needed to get a printer for my business of which I'm the manager. I went down to Circuit City with visions of Printer-Fax-Copier combos in my head, but very little moolah in the account to purchase the printer with. Wanting to save my company ...

Pros: Inexpensive, small, lightweight, good basic printer Cons: none
Purchased this printer for my notebook...wanted an inexpensive but halfway decent printer for doing minimal printing, projects, etc. The price was great & it doesn't take up a lot of space...it's easy to move around and also to take it along in the car when needed.
Pros: Quick, small, single cartridge capability, great price Cons: No USB cable
My dad has a Photosmart 1000 on out main computer for most of the printing, but I wanted something I could use in my room. Network printing can be a pain at times... So I find this printer and give it a try. It is obvious this isn't the same build quality level as say the Photosmart series, but a darn nice printer regardless. It prints documents pretty fast just using it's tri-color cart. I would recomend getting a black as well because the text can seem a bit light.
To really test it, I bumped the quality up to high(there's one more setting, but I figured that would drain my single cart) I stuck in some glossy paper, and printed a small 4x6 print. Even without the black cart, it achived very deep black tones as well as wonderful colors. The speed wasn't too bad either. Well worth the $40.

Pros: Comes with color cartridge, Print quality is good for the price, Comes with color cartridge. Cons: Slow printing, Does not come with black cartridge.
I purchased this printer about a month ago because I needed something to tide me over until I could move my old one to my new home. And while it prints well for the price I am wishing I had purchased a higher model.
The printing speed is a little on the slow side in black & white and especially in color and if you plan on using it with a wireless router the speed decreases greatly. On my network it takes about one and half minutes per page to print.
On the up side it comes with a color cartridge that does have black in it but if you want a plain black cartridge, you'll have to purchase it separately.

Pros: inexpensive...lightweight...ink is CHEAP too Cons: not much :-)
Bought it for last minute printing jobs because it was inexpensive...loved it because it was portable and well upon doing my research the INK was relatively cheap too so I figured it would not be costly to have this printer.....
...until now that i have mechanical problems and a service technician provided me with a quote that exceeds the purchase price by more than 2X...so i guess this product isn't so great after all. No wonder these companies provide one year warranties because that's when all the problems arise....
anyway, I can't lie about this product, it was pretty good and unlike other reviewers I do believe the ink lasts pretty long, never had problems with the ink.
Pros: Good price, small, fairly lightweight, descent print quality Cons: Can be slow to print, drains ink
I purchased this printer a few years back. For the most part, I have not experienced any major problems with this printer and think for the price, it's an alright deal. Pages that were printed seemed to come out in good quality. I have experienced that it can be slow printing, sometimes it took a couple minutes just to start printing. I've never experienced paper-jams but it does drain the ink quite quickly.

Perfect budget printer by rctennis3811 ,Aug 01 '04
Pros: low price, fast printing, small size Cons: none that I can think of!
Before I used a Canon BJC-6000 which was super-fast and awesome at photo printing, but sadly it broke after 3 years. I saw the 3520 at Wal-Mart for only $40 and the specs were amazing for the price. I frequently print using color and I've never been disappointed - heck, it's better than my old Canon!
Pros: HP sends software/drivers CD for free Cons: none
