Pros: Fast start up time (using one card), small and compact, easy to use Cons: Slower start up time with two memory cards, batteries hard to locate
I purchased this item at around $200. It was an old display model that had only been out for a few months. It had a scratch here and there, but so far after owning it for nearly six months, it's perfect! Mostly... It takes two digital media cards. ...
Pros: very portable, great quality pictures, good accurate colors, firmware upgradeable, good price, 3x optical zoom Cons: Slow 'turn-on' time, proprietary battery, problem focusing on low light conditions or macro mode
This camera has payed itself more than once already. The quality of the pictures is pretty good, specially when taking photos outdoors. People tell me "wow...what kind of camera did you take this pics with?" The portability is awesome. It's so compact ...
Pros: Small, Fast, Great pics with little effort. Cons: Yada, Yada,...battery life...Yada.
I have had my KD-500Z almost 2 months now and am now ready to talk about it. This is my second Digital with the first being a Toshiba PDR-M1(a 1.5mp 2x dig.zoom only). While I enjoyed this camera for about 3+ years, it didn't take me long to shelve ...
Pros: Compact, durable, normal, sepia, or B&W modes Cons: short battery life in display mode
I have been so thrilled with this camera. It is my first digital camera because I kept holding out until I could get the MP's I really wanted for the price I wanted to pay. It is so easy to use and has such great features. I love to switch to sepia ...
fragile battery door latch by john10boy42 ,Apr 11 '05
Pros: light weight, small package, has many useful features and takes beautiful pictures. Cons: Fragile camera.
One has to be careful when carrying camera with attached strap.
Bump the battery door against your body and there goes your battery.
Same problem can happen if you carry in your front pants pocket. Unlatches battery door.
Dealer recommends using a soft camera case.
I love it - Great Camera at great price by chatchat ,Dec 21 '04
Pros: Open and shoot, extremely fast, very easy to use, powerful flash, cute, small, light Cons: Not found yet
After searching for days and days for a digital camera above 4Mpixels , reasonable price and fast ( to be able to shoot many pictures of babies and kids ) , I found this one, very competitive , no well known on the market, invisible in usual stores like best buy, circuit city etc ... and to be honest ... this is a GREAT camera at 5Mp and well priced
Awsome little camera. Have had... by petrofix_dt3000 ,Dec 20 '02
Awsome little camera. Have had numerous other digital cameras which I used for work. The Konica is so small and easy to use that i like it best - about the size of a pack of smokes. Images suffer from purple fringing and colors rendition is not very true. But what can you exect from such a small lense. I put in a 256mb SD card a 128mb memory stick and you can store on both of them. With this combination I get 105 55 of the highest quality JPEGs. Highly recommended for a ultra compact with zoom.

I was a little sceptical about such a small camera's ability to produce the quality pictures I hoped to get from a $500.00 digital camera. I am no longer a sceptic! I have been more then pleasantly pleased. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a compact digital camera in this price range.
Great camera -- the images... by sporter_dt3000 ,Dec 20 '02
Great camera -- the images are outstanding. The start up time is almost instant -- the shot to shot time can lag a bit. The video function works well and allows up to 30 sec. clips. SD cards seem to allow faster reading and writing than memory stick -- but it is nice that the camera takes both -- I am able to load it with 384MB for about $150.
This is the camera I've been waiting for. It is smaller and sleeker than my Elph 370Z, and just as my Elph made me forget my SLR, the Revio KD-500Z has made me cast my Elph aside. The slick pewter body is sexy. The picture detail is unbelievable if not as sharp as I would like, but that's the trade-off with optics so compact. For 'random' shots which I like to take, the Revio KD-500Z is the perfect camera.

The camera is the best one that I have ever used. The menu is easy to learn and use. The camera is very small, but still allows for a bigger user with large hands.
