Pros: Cheap, reliable, easy to use, quick to install Cons: none
Printers - can live without them, right? Okay, maybe you can, but I can’t. It was about a year ago I went to Staples in order to pick up some new ink cartridges for my previous printer. The prices was going to cost around $60, no problem, it was ...

The worst printer EVER
by christek ,Jul 12 '07
Pros: There are absolutely no good points for this printer other than it's compact design. Cons: Cheap piece of junk!
I bought this printer because it was cheap and I needed a printer immediately. The old saying that you get what you pay for has never been more true. WHEN you are able to get it to print, you will go through at least 5 sheets of paper for every printed page due to the paper not feeding correctly. If you are lucky enough to get it to print, the quality is horrendous, the color is almost non-existent, and you will have used almost your entire black ink cartridge in the process. I'm getting the "low ink" warning for the black ink and have not managed to print 5 acceptable pages. The cartridges are more expensive than the printer was! This printer is junk and mine will be taking up residence in the dumpster when I have finished this review. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and save yourself the headaches associated with this piece of garbage.

If you like a printer not to work....
by trying2print ,Jun 26 '07
Pros: price, lightweight Cons: quality control issues
I bought this because of the price....what happened is that that it is less than 1 yr old and it totally messed up. It does not print straight, it is blurry and makes clicking sounds.
The price was a good deal, but then again that $35.00 I threw away is $35 I will not get back.
Everything is wrong with this thing! I replaced the cartridges, reinstalled them, aligned them, cleaned the nozzles and it still prints crooked and blurry. There is no hope for this one!

z600 thumbs down
by bobtest100 ,Jul 03 '05
Pros: stay away from it Cons: terrible terrible terrible
I bought the z600 because it was cheap at 49. However, you have to buy the usb cable and the cartridges that came with it are only supposed to last 20 pages ( staples sales guy)/ So I walked out paying about 130.00
The paper jams all the time and the install did not go smooth at all.
I am still using the original cartridges, so I guess I didn't need the extra cartridges. After spending so much for a cheap printer, I would pass on anything lexmark offers.
