Pros: Reasonably fast, feature rich, Pocket PC OS, 64mb Cons: No CF expansion slot.
When my boss called me and told me to give my Palm V to one of my employees and order myself a new one I knew that I wanted a Pocket PC. The question was which one.
Most of the Pocket PC handhelds with the power I wanted were in the $400 to...
Pros: Slim Form Factor
Price
Better character recognition
Good performance for everyday use
Cons: So so battery life
Button Lag!
Less stable than palm.
After about 1.5 years of using a palm Vx I decided it was time to upgrade. Luckily I saw a great deal on the e335 at the local Officedepot. I bought it without delay.
After using this unit for about a week I have several things to say about...
Pros: Cheap! Loads of memory. quality feel to it. very slim Cons: not as attractive as the HP ipaq.Recorder Button!
I originally bought a Palm 125 a little more than a year ago. I liked it. But it was my first. I had to replace it, due to screen crapping out after about a month. The replacement served me well till about a month and a half ago.
Pros: lightweight
fast processor Cons: no protection from inadvertent "on"
I've had this PDA for about a week, and so far I mostly love it. The 300 mHz processor is a wonderful - a nice step up from the HP Journada I had - and the unit has a good set of features. I'm particularly happy to see that it works to record quick...
Pros: Low Cost, Full list of functions Cons: Flimsy case will flex so the back isn't level, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT
The e335 has the standard features that you would expect to see from a PDA in the class. The more affordable price is what convinced to purchase this versus the Tungsten(Palm) or one of the COMPAQs.
Pros: Battery Life= A+++ Cons: Wish I bought a WIFI, but otherwise, this PDA rocks.
I have used the Toshiba e335 for over 1 year now, and as far as the battery life goes, I believe it puts out more than anyone could expect out of a 5V battery. First off, I can start the day with a fresh battery, I will arrive at the airport and wait for ...
Pros: Thin, color, PocketPC, functional! Cons: Battery life.
Let me state upfront: I use my PDA as primarily 3 things:
- address book
- calendar (reminder) system
- task (to-do) list
Note that this is how a 'traditional' "planner" is used.
As a result, I plug it in (to the cradle) daily,...
Pros: Very thing in one for the students and everyone Cons: Wish it played video
Received this item as a gift. Now I let it run my life. Great organizer, very adaptable to do that things, it is a mini computer. I'm a legal studies student so at times I store U.S. Supreme Court cases on it.
I have a photo shop on it and GPS program when I drive on long trips not to get lost. Battery life is great especially for its size. Can go three day without charge with moderate usage. Had it for a little over a year and its still useful.
Pros: Lightweight, slim Cons: Record button at annoying place, SD card reader
This PDA is pretty good, as are most of the Toshiba portable computers. The operating system runs fine and the applications are also smooth.
The only bad thing about this is that the record button is placed in a very awkward place, and the SD card reader does not work properly on my particular machine, sometimes it reads, sometimes it doesn't.
I bought at Circuit City... by george_dt3003 ,Feb 04 '03
I bought at Circuit City to use with Pocket Genealogist. I have complete records downloaded on over 9,000 individuals. 64 meg of memory does great. Speed is excellent. I also have an Excel address file along with other smaller Word files. It's a great product.

i bought this pocket pc from circuitcity after returning my sony T665pda. toshiba e335 is fantastic. you can't compare any pda with this pocket pc. 64mb ram is more than enough. i can download songs, video clipings..too. coplor is nice. sound quality is just fantastic. remember this is true pocket pc. i recomend this item after my 2 weeks of use.
Bought from Best Buy after reading article about Pocket PC gaming. I really like that it has a very fast processor and lots of RAM; which is exactly what I need for playing games and listening to my mp3s when I'm on the go.
Bought for $300 (that's American dollars) in Omaha, NE after the rebate.
This is a great pda. It is my first, but I messed around with others, and this is one of the best in its class. Only had to soft reset it (nothing bad at all) a couple times since I bought it.
I paid around $260 USD
