Panasonic KX-CL500D Laser Printer

Pros: Good quality construction, duplexer, network ready, GREAT speed and quality of prints. Very good buy.
Cons: The "starter" toner cartridges are a joke.

I was persuaded by the $200.00 rebate and the rated ppm. I have not been disappointed. This is a very well built printer that's a little larger than I expected, but this thing is both good and fast. I had it up and running in less than 30 minutes from the time it arrived. The built in print server is flawless. It has all the connection options, USB, Parallel & Ethernet and a built in duplexer. The "starter" toner cartridges are a joke for a printer of this caliber so you might as well buy the full replacement set when you buy the machine. I compared it against Brother, HP, Lexmark and Xerox. This has the the best features from all the others and the quality of construction is excellent. I replaced a 5 year old NEC superscript 870 with this and its like going from a biplane to the space shuttle. Good choice for a good product. Prints are GREAT!! Speed is even GREATER!!
