Context: I have owned several very compact digicams (digital cameras) before this, including the Casio QV-R40 and the Pentax Optio S4. I generally buy only very small (ultra-compact) digicams, because my usage pattern is that I need the ...
Pros: Easy to follow directions, movies and still pictures Cons: needs to come with a carrying case
dark images sometimes.
This is my camera. I love my little sleek black camera. It is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 Digital camera. It takes still pictures with numerous settings, it takes videos that I can put onto my computer with ease. I bought this camera for ...
Pros: Useful scene modes, good battery life, excellent feel and look and interface. Cons: Noise performance could be better. Flash can be a little strong up close.
I purchased this camera after considering models by Canon (SD800) and Fuji (F30, mainly). There were several things that led me to choose Panasonic. First, I felt that the feel of this camera was better than any of its competition. The Fuji was larger ...
Pros: Good lens, snappy performance Cons: IS does not deliver on its promises
For marketing reasons, digicam manufacturers are cramming ever more pixels into ever smaller (and thus cheaper to manufacture) sensors. Something has to give, namely electronic noise, the equivalent of TV static when a signal is not strong enough (as ...
Pros: Perfect pocket size, good build quality, excellent outdoor shots. Cons: Grainy non-flash pictures in low light. No optical viewfinder. Behind the current competition in features.
I bought this camera because of it's size and the digital image stabilization that I hoped would allow me to take indoor shots without a flash. For the most part I was happy with the camera. It's even smaller then it's physical dimensions suggest. Much ...
Pros: Leica Lens, Lithium Ion Battery, Easy to use;layout, great picture quality. Cons: $400 retail is a bit high in my opinion.
As an owner of a Pentax Optio S, I was quite skeptical at first. My Fiance fell "in love" with this camera, almost immediately. The image quality was amazing, the motion video (something I'm not interested in, but tried out anyway) looks quite good ...
Pros: The huge screen, Leica lens, vastly superior image quality, easy use, durability, portablilty. Cons: Battery life, but that's addressed in the next model. No manual image controls.
My background is an amateur studio photographer, I grew up with film. I'm also a tech geek, I like to explore all of the camera's options. I never use a camera's onboard flash, I always shoot using available lighting. I take a camera everywhere I go. ...
Pros: Cute, Small, Leica lens, Cons: Shoddy build quality, inadequate warranty for the price.
My comments are based on my seven months experience as an owner this camera. I will preface by saying that I like the idea of very small cameras, film and now digital, and value pocketability since I think it encourages spontaneous use. I have owned a ...
If you're looking for a pocketable camera that delivers excellent results in demanding conditions, check out the DMC-FX7. I've been looking for a handy camera to carry around to capture the many photo opportunities that show up in everyday life. I ...
Pros: Durable, Long Lasting, High Quality, easy to use! Cons: I have yet to find any.
I have had this camera for about 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. It is a well-developed camera that just makes the photo taking experience just enjoyable. I have use this camera for everything from graduations, birthdays, parties, weddings, ...
Pros: Small, easy to use, great battery life Cons: pixeled pictures at digital zoom.
I have owned the Panasonic Lumix FZ10 for several years, but it is quiet bulky and large. It's great for taking fancy picture but not fun to stick in your pocket during a birthday dinner or other fun event. Because I was already fond of the ...
I don't like rambling on and on like some reviewers here, so I'll get to the point... 1. Pictures are very pixelated/noisy. There's often a 'watercolor' effect 2. Many of the pictures were very poorly exposed and out of focus. 3. The flash sync ...
Panasonic dmc-fx07 Digital Camera by bahamatrad ,Oct 01 '06
Pros: ease of use, picture and video quality, ultra-compact size Cons: wrist strap installation
First, let me state that this is my first digital camera ever purchased. Right out of the box, I was able to take pictures and record movies with ease. The picture quality is unbelievable and video is better then any camcorder I have used. I did lots of comparison shopping and I chose this camera over the Canon 800/900 for the wide angle lens and past positive experiences with Panasonic. I must admit that price was also a deciding factor, with the dmc-fx07 less expensive then the Canon's. If I were to pick on something I didn't like about this camera it would be the difficulty in connecting the wrist strap and the useless 16 mb card thats included.
Pros: many features, small size, durable, great picture quality, many extras. Cons: none
I purchased this camera after purchasing and subsequently returning a defective Canon. This camera is loaded with features. This little Panasonic offers not only the standard picture settings such as normal, maco, scenery, sport, and night, it also offers soft skin, food, fireworks, beach, starry sky and snow just to name a few. There is also a simple mode that works great if you don't want to bother with all the others. The picture quality is superb. Even the pictures featured in the LCD are beautiful. I haven't had any problems with this camera. Included with the camera was a small caring case, hand strap, battery, cables, and a small memory card just to get you started. This product is well made and very durable. The design is stylish and pleasing. I purchased the camera when it fist came out and i know that the price has come down since my purchase. I would highly recommend this camera to everybody I know.
