I will just say, after researching digital video cameras for months I decided on this one for a few main reasons. 1. I have many Panasonic products and haven't had any trouble (I have a panasonic tv from 1986 and it's still has the best picture of the 6 tvs I have in the house) 2. It's size and features and 3. The features for the money.

I bought this Camcorder in Amazon after an intensive search of different models and brands. I was going to use primaraly for golf swings. I have used it for less than an hour and it is not working anymore. It doesnt allow me to rewind, fast forward or play the tape...
I have no idea what is going on with it. I have tried to contact Panasonic for a while (3 times, waiting approx. 20 min the first two times, and as I am writing this I am on minute 40!!! of the 3rd call, can you beleive this????)
If you are considering this camcorder my advice IS NOT TO EVEN CONSIDER THIS PIECE OF JUNK or anything that panasonic sells. If they treat customers this way... they are more than ready to sell but then....
