Is this the best they can do?

Pros: Lots of buttons, CD index mark access!
Cons: Bad manual, half-assed implementations...
Having only tried one other universal, I can't say how well this one compares to the broader range, but I *can* comment based on its own merits.

BTW, the other remote I tried was the 5-device Jensen, which I quite liked in terms of ergonomics,...

Good, but not for SONY

Pros: Nice handling,good price with so many features. Believe it works well for all RCA,GE devices
Cons: Do not buy it for your SONY devices
