Remington ES-1000 Electric Shaver

Cons: No stand, not being promoted enough

The Remington ES-1000 is the shaver to buy if you are one of many like myself that suffers from razor burn and bumps from shaving. For the past 20 years I've tried everything but nothing works. I settled for the Wahl beard trimmers and lived for years ...

Pros: Convenient...no pain...easy to clean...leaves my face extremely smooth...no hair bumps...no dark spots. Nice travel pouch.

This product is wonderful!!!!
I had a problem with shaving bumps and this little baby totally alleviated the problem.
My face is so smooth and soft. I use it every other day because using it everyday gives me irritation bumps but otherwise this product is great.
I have super sensitive skin so I can't really use anything else and I'm so happy that I found this wonder product.

I have bought a Norelco, Panasonic and Remington shavers. This one is the best for my very sensitive skin. The closet was the Remington MicroScreen MS3-2700. But this shaver is worth the small price for it.

This shaver gave me the best shave than any other electric shaver that I have ever used. I have come across many others before but none compared to the ES-1000. I had a problem maintaining a close shave(severe razor bumps) while in the military and used every shaver that i could think of. I cant use razors, so the bump control shaver was introduced to me and i have gotten amazing results. There is no way that i would switch to anything else.

Pros: Real quiet for a slotted razor
Cons: no popup trimmer for sideburns

I would recommend the Ultra Smooth for anyone with razor bumps or sensitive skin. The only drawback is you wont get a baby smooth shave as it will only cut at skin level. I guess that is the compromise to avoid bumps. I tried the Norelcos, and Remington Foil but both gave me razor bumps. So if you are at the end of your rope trying to get a bump free shave try the Ultra Smooth as it is probably your last resort. Also I found when you use it not to apply too much pressure as this will invite bumps. I don't pull my skin taunt either as that will cause bumps too.
