Pros: Everlasting fun. Cons: Addiction is very common.
Starcraft is definitely a classic game which requires quick thinking and strategy. If you have never played it you are definitely missing something great, even if you are not into PC games. At first you play the game to beat it on single player and build...

Pros: Great game play & awesome storyline. Cons: Violent, and the way people die... shudder
I remember when Star Craft first came out and I saw a couple of kids holding the box. I looked at it and thought immediately about Warcraft, which I also heard so much about. I, however, thought that it was just a space version of war craft and that it...

Pros: comes with campaign editor (map maker), different game types, races, balanced, fog of war, multiplayer, play modified games in SC (Chess) - fixes are about every two months Cons: on multiplayer - when you are waiting for someone to respond in the middle of the game, you can't type - annoying when it keeps happening in the middle of the game - your message is cleared
Just to start off here - I've had StarCraft for 3 years - my friend gave me a spawn version (can only play multiplayer - with him) and I liked it so much I bought it. I'm only giving a review of the PC version. Here's why I bought it:
OK....

Pros: Great Strategy Game that is excellent with the multiplayer feature Cons: It may take a little while to learn.
When Starcraft hit the gaming world in 1995 it was huge. Everyone went out to buy it and they got all of their pennies worth. Even more importantly than that Starcraft changed the way games were played on the Internet. With Starcraft’s Battle.net players...

Pros: Fun, exciting, forever changing! Cons: sore losers.
This game is so extremely addicting and fun to play! New maps every time you turn around, new people to play with (you can even ally with others and play against the computer!), new situations, new kinds of games! It never gets boring!
You have your...

Pros: Best game EVER Cons: Your grades will drop and youll carpal tunnel syndrome. To play online you need a fast modem (reccommended 56k +) and a descent computer
This is BY FAR the single greatest game I have ever played. It involves a great deal of stategy (one thing I look for) despite what you may think. The best thing about this game is the battle.net feature. Lots of games get boring becuase your just...

Pros: HYDRAS RULE!!!! Cons: If your against a terran who is pulling the depot thing...attack the depots first or drop with overlords and GO FAST
All of the races in starcraft are good, depending on how you use them, but my personal best happens to be zerg and ill teach you my method of goin hydralisks:
1: Build drones untill you have reached 9/9.
2: On the ninth drone build a...

Pros: Endless gameplay, Campaign editor huge + Cons: Graphics look 16-bit and my sega Genisis still lives with my parents for a reason
Well, I guess its about time for me to get back to work on these reviews. Even though my latest obsession for Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games is taking up most of my time. Hey, what better way amuse you and myself other than to write some reviews for...

Pros: Outstanding story, varied game play, built-in map editor, free online play, well balanced Cons: Addictive, music may get repetitive, slightly steep learning curve
Starcraft was the first real-time strategy game I had ever played, and it makes a good introduction for novices, while having enough depth to keep experts busy for several months, if not years. The missions range from simple to almost inhumanly...

Pros: Great Music, Sounds, Graphics, Theme, Race Selection, Level Orginality, Mutiplayer, Storyline, and Kerrigan! Cons: Ive mastered it via mutliplayer and single player after 3 years of playing constinately.
Usually when you think Command and Conquer or Warcraft 1 & 2 your first though is KILLING, AND WINNING FUN!. Well that doesnt change with starcraft, you simply select 1 or your 3 different races and learn the vast storyline of starcraft via the...

Pros: life saver, forever lasting, super fun, kicking ppl's butts on bnet Cons: serious addiction, hackers and lags on the bnet
I am not kidding you. This game is gotta be THE game of my early adult life. Since I purchased it over 3 years ago I play StarCraft at least a few times a week. The multiplayer action over Battle.Net (Blizzard's own game server) is simply TOO GOOD to...

Pros: Strategy, Multiplayer, Balanced Cons: Nothing
The most important thing about this game is not the graphics, or the sound, but the balance, strategy and multiplayer that Blizzard has so finley tuned that it blows me away everytime I think about it. With 3 races having totally different untis,...

Pros: 3 races, many units, many missions, good single player Cons: About $30-$40
When I first bought Warcraft 2, I didn't think that Blizzard could make a much better Real-Time strategy than that. I was dead wrong. This is a must-buy for all RTS fans because of the great gameplay and storyline.
There are 3 unique races...

I would like to start out by appoligizing for not writing more, however, I have had shoulder surgery, and my arm is just starting to feel well enough to write again. Now for more on the game.

Pros: Stimulates the mind! Lots of weapons, but can win without mastering them all. Cons: Cheat Codes: They exist and as always they destroy the purist's game.
StarCraft is a great space game. You control all the men, however they will defend themselves in your absence. It is up to you to dispatch the proper warriors to the right areas. You must develop your own economic system. You find and them bring home the...
