little one that thinks it's a BIG one
by macksdaddy ,Mar 22 '04
Pros: inexpensive, powerful, small, reliable. Cons: the other review, MOUNT IT VERTICALLY! it doesn't get hot.
I bought this to go in my srt-4. I am powering one audiobahn AW1251T. With the 2.2 c.f. sealed box I have and the gain set about 80% I get some of the best sound you can imagine. From rap to classic rock it jams. This little amp does more than the 300 watts that the name suggests. Way under-rated. A card came with this amp from RF saying that their tested rms power was 342watts. I can see that being right. It is far more powerful than my mdrb-300 I use in my maxima for my mid-bass. I am very impressed. Don't believe me? Next time your on the DAN RYAN stuck in traffic look for the black srt-4 that is jamming and in total bliss. Don't yell or honk I won't hear you!

Good Amp
by fgranieri ,Sep 16 '03
Pros: Pumps big bass Cons: Must be used with a crossover to get maximum bass. Adjusting gains are a pain,
Rockford fosgate makes great products. This amp is an o.k product not the best I have seen from them. The amp runs very hot and shuts off after about 1/2 hour. The mosfet power supply is the problem its just to sensetive. Any heat bang its off.

The best little amp money can buy
by accord96turbo ,Oct 13 '04
Pros: The price of this amp not over 150 Cons: Is its not that much power if you want allot
If you are in the markit to get a little boom in your car but dont want too much then this is for you. I have installed this amp in cars to power one sub. My most recent install was this amp to a 10 inch rockford sud. The finale outcome was quite nice. It can be really loud when you want it and it can also have allot of quality behind the sound. Overall this amp is a great buy.
