Have been using this coffee maker for about a year and would highly recommend it. Makes two regular sized cups of great tasting coffee. Very well designed. If you have experience with other coffee makers, I think you'll notice the difference. With other coffee makers I've owned, it was awkward to open/close the filter basket with the carafe on the warmer. Not this one. The filter basket is simple to remove for cleaning and very easy to load filters/coffee. Water reservoir is easy to access and there's a highly visible water level indicator with a red floating ball on the side of the unit. The filter basket has drainage holes in just the right spots so it drains easily after washing. I don't use the metal mesh filter because it allows some sediment through, but it was nice they included one. Uses efficient cone shaped paper filters available anywhere. One potential problem, the power switch is in a position that's easy to bump and turn the unit on accidentally. I would recommend unplugging the unit when not in use, to prevent this from happening. Unfortunately the carafe dribbles a little coffee on the counter when you pour.

Sleek and modern design, easy to store on counter tops, nice looking. I've had this model for 14 years and it is still in excellent condition.
