Ever hear? Piece of S*it.
by jojomonkey ,Dec 16 '03
Pros: Never get STD's while you have this unit. Cons: Everything in it is made from the devil.
I bought this "bad-boy" at the local wal-mart (another fine establishment) for $200. I have had it for 3 years because I am a broke S.O.B. I also live in the freezing cold for some time. While this unit gave me good-great sound through my Infiniti speakers, I soon discovered that this was the weakest link in my system. Soon my friends all left me for "cooler" friends because of my "bad as* Xplode". I mean this unit did not get me any chicks! The unit then decided to not like the cold weather where I lived. Apparently it wanted to live in sunny Acapulco. Well soon it started to not read my discs, it would give me the ERROR sign over and over. I really hate this thing. And God forbid I run over any cracks in the road, or this baby will skip until it gets tired and it resorts to the ERROR, then shuts off. Man this thing sucks, Never buy an Xplode CD player.

Got it free, works for me
by sparticus15 ,Apr 14 '04
Pros: Easy to understand and program Cons: Not the most durable cd player
I got my Xplode from a friend for free. He got a jeep that already had that cd player in it. He took it out and put his old one in the jeep...giving me the Xplode. It was hard as hell to install in my car due to taking my entire dashboard off, but now it's finally installed and works fine. Only when I put in burned cds does it sometimes reads "error." But it still reads it and plays just fine...even over cracks in the road. I'm liking it.
