The Sony KV-32FS13WEGA TV is expensive compared to conventional (non-flat-screen) TVs. So you have a difficult choice: which one to buy – a conventional TV from Sharp, JVC, Toshiba or Panasonic (which will still provide good picture...
Pros: GREAT picture, Lots of features, GREAT picture, FLAT SCREEN! Cons: Sound could be in league with the picture.
When I got a DVD player, I knew that it was time to get a TV that could really let my movies shine. For a few years, I had my eyes on Sony's line of Flat Screen Trinitron Televisions. Their incredibly vivid pictures, flat screen technology, and...
Pros: Well designed - TV looks great even when switched off. Cons: Big and heavy for a 32". 16 second "warm up" before image is displayed.
The last TV I bought was a top of the line 32" WEGA XBR model back in 1998. (XBR is Sony's "high-end" line.) It was the second largest model they had at the time and I paid about $1899 for it. You see, I'm the type of person who likes the best of the...
My wife and I started to look for HDTVs, seeking digital quality and the wide aspect ratio. We ended up realizing that we had "digital quality" with our satellite receiver, and the wide aspect ratio was basically only used on DVDs that we watch every...
Pros: Flat, Low Price for a Sony Wega Cons: EXPENSIVE for 32" with included features
Recently moved to a new place needed a TV to fill the living room, HDTV doesn't matter much to me and who knows when my local provider will have an all HDTV content, and the price is too much for me just to hook up a progressive scan DVD to it.
...
Pros: Sharp Picture, Super Video Inputs, PIP, Setting Options, Cheaper then HDTV Cons: Heavy to move, lift, can't get it off the floor:-) More Expensive then regular TV
The Flat Screen Sony KV-32FS13 WEGA TV is significantly more expensive then a regular TV without the flat screen.
WEGA:
The WEGA screen provides - black, dark backgrounds which
go well with letterbox DVD's or broadcast...
This was purchased to replace our 6-year-old, 32" Mitsubishi console. The Wega KV-32FS13 arrived Sat. 9/1. We couldn't wait for it to be set up. We were watching an old 19" JVC for about a week. The picture and sound on this old set was driving me...
Pros: Excellent DVD, Playstation2, GameCube picture; great sound, user friendly. Cons: Takes 2 men to lift; Analog quality is amplified....
When I bought this T.V. I was very sceptical and didn't know whether I wanted the 32" or the 36" for the xtra $200. The weight was the deciding factor. This baby weighs 165 lbs compared to the 250 lb 36". I'm not into PIP anyway.
Pros: picture quality, user friendly menu, lots of av inputs and outputs for component use Cons: warm up time
My husband had been bugging me for this television long before we bought it. Finally, when it came time to replace our old one, I gave in. Admittedly, I was a little put off by the price. But believe me, it is definitely worth every penny! The...
Pros: Great Picture Cons: Broke in one month, horrible customer service and repair
There is no question that this SONY has a great picture. The picture and everything else stopped working one month to the day after I purchased it. I previously had a SONY for 13 years without any trouble. Now I have called SONY and it appears it will...
Sony Trinitron Wega KV-32FS13 - Bad TV, worse cust service from Sony by srwny ,Aug 14 '07
Pros: Absolutely Nothing about SONY...... Cons: Terrible experience...Never SONY again...
We bought this TV 9/01. We have always had sony equipment. At the moment we have 3 sony TVs. This one's picture just went out 2 days ago. Now, when I turn it on....I get nothing. The stand-by light blinks 4 times and thats it. I called sony and got "no love", she (cust service) gave me service phone numbers then told me that it probably wont be worth fixing, why bother give me phone numbers....? We paid alot of money for this and after not even 6 years, it goes bad.
I've been told that its not worth fixing. I cant believe this......I spent alot of money !!!
I am going TV shopping today and I gurantee that it wont be a SONY.
Great definition in picture!!!!!!!!! by compteck123 ,Oct 12 '08
Pros: dependibiliy, quality, looks Cons: none
TV is awesome even against LCD and Plasma. Much more reliable as well. No loss in quality and no expensive bulb or ballast to buy every 2months like on lcd.
The picture quality is fantastic.... by mtrmdc1_dt3000 ,Dec 09 '02
The picture quality is fantastic. I only have a broadcast tv antenna, no cable or satellite. I'm about fifty five miles from the nearest tv station. The tuner in the tv set clears up the snowy pictures. The extra a/v jacks let me hook up my video games, home theatre system, and vcr. I still have the front a/v jacks unused. I have young children around, and all the manual control buttons are on the top of the tv. No more children tampering with the tv controls. My only complaint is that the tv weighs a considerable amount.
