Sam Cooke - The Rhythm and The Blues
by ceel3665 ,Jun 20 '07
Pros: Sam Cooke at his best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: There are no cons to this cd!
Sam Cooke - The Rhythm and The Blues
Well, here is Sam Cooke at his best! This is in my opinion Mr. Cooke's best work other than Night Beat. (Its my favotire cd) Sammy Loft and Horrace Ott contributes such musical talents as composers as Mr. Cooke croons some of the all time great rhythm and blue ballards. My favorite song on this cd of all time is "Cry Me A River" as Mr. Cooke does his best work. Listen to his unique ad libs on this song. Also be sure to listen to "Get Yourself Another Fool", "A Fool's Paradise", "Little Girl Blue" and "Smoke Rings". "Little Girl Blue" have that 40ish Big Band touch but it beautiful. I suggest this as one of the "must haves" in your Sam Cook Collection!
