Pros: Cheap, has all the basics, takes decent shots in ambient light Cons: Poor flash, no optical viewfinder
The Vivitar 3750 is a fairly basic digital camera, but considering the price (I picked it up at a liquidation warehouse sale for $50), its not bad. In this low price range, a few things are missing. The 3750s limitations include: - no ...

Pros: Good quality pictures, many features, good battery life Cons: Sometimes pictures are a little fuzzy, flash is sometimes too bright
Let me start by saying this is not a 'top quality' camera. And you shouldn't expect one for around $90. However, for that price, this is one of the best cameras I have found. This camera takes both still photos and video. Without a memory card, you ...

Pros: cheap, easy to use, nice pics Cons: Hard to see the LCD screen in dim light
I bought this for my son and ended up buying TWO MORE at Wmart...for less than $80 each (add in the 128 Meg SD chip and you've got a great little camera for cheap). The "low" resolution image allows over 700 shots before having to download (the SD chip ...

Decent Camera at a Sweet Price
by smokeywaterz ,Dec 22 '04
Pros: Easy to use, decent internal memory size, price Cons: LCD screen seems a bit unclear. Complex manual focusing.
I bought the Vivicam 3750 as a Christmas present, then played with it long enough to decide on keeping it. Buck for buck, there are enough features and options to satisfy almost any demand I have in a camera.
The software packaged with the camera is pretty bland. But with a little ingenuity, the lack of high-quality imaging capability can be over come with various filters.
A great little camera!

Surprisingly good camera for around $80
by doyouknow ,Jan 02 '05
Pros: Simple to operate, small, unobtrusive, lightweight, good battery life, excellent picture quality. Cons: No viewfinder, no way to force flash on for fill, LCD invisible in sun, dark.
This is the first digital camera that I've owned, and I found the camera surprisingly simple to operate. The pictures are incredible, now that I've manually stepped up the EV value. All the shots were too dark at the factory setting, but with the camera set on auto and an EV of +1, even flash pictures are good. There are four resolutions to choose from, and I like to shoot with the highest, then reduce the size for those shots I want to email. The battery life is better than I've seen with cameras I've borrowed from friends, especially with Ni-MH--one spare set, and I'm good for all day. A 128 meg SD card is a must when using the higher resolutions. I wish that there was a way to force the flash on for fill, and a viewfinder would be nice for bright sun or low-light shots, as the LCD is very hard to see in these conditions.

Excellent Value
by beemerman ,Jan 03 '05
Pros: small size, easy downloading of images, outdoor performance, value for money Cons: mediocre indoor performance, software has limited abilities
Bought for $79 at Wally World, very easy to use and takes decent quality images if you pay attention to the settings. Works best on outdoor scenes with bright lighting, images are a bit dark indoors. The software improves the indoor images dramatically if you use the quickfix function. Outdoor performance is really good. The camera is extremely small and fits in the pocket well. A great pocket camera to carry with you everywhere. Downloading the images is super easy also.

Cheap Money = Cheap product
by clue4you ,Apr 24 '05
Pros: Price Cons: flash stinks!!, Image quality stinks!!, No options
The only thing good about this camera is how inexpensive it is. Other than that its not very good. One horrible feature is the flash. You can only set it on auto, so if the camera thinks its light enough, it won't flash. Every picture comes out grainy. Even on a bright sunny day you can still see the distortion and graininess in the picture. I would recommend this camera for anyone age 12 and under. Its cheap, durable and fun for a child.

Great Camera for a Great Price
by deiter1999 ,Jan 04 '05
Pros: Quality Camera at Cheap Price
Takes Great Pictures
Simple interface Cons: Slight Grainy Effect in low light settings (NO BIG DEAL)
I got this camera for my Christmas. It is fully adjustable to pretty much any light, condition, and need. The low quality images are still great quality. I'd gladly pay $100+ for this camera as it is comparable to cameras twice it's price. The images are clear, and big. In low light you can get some grainy look on the pictures but it's nothing you cant edit out and mask. Otherwise this is a near perfect camera.

Vivicam 3750
by shortandspazzy ,Jul 27 '05
Pros: LCD screen(liquid Crystal Display), movie mode, very small and lightweight. Cons: nighttime outdoor pictures don't come out, sometimes details only show on the computer.
I got this camera for Christmas 2004, and i use it all the time. I've only needed to change the batteries 3 or 4 times. The only thing i find it can't really take good pictures of is nighttime scenery from far away. Every thing else is very good.

Cool Camera, Works Great!
by charlesenn ,Jan 04 '05
Pros: Easy to carry, compact, throw the batteries in it and go, battery life is great Cons: Indoor or night shots a little grainy. No biggy!
I bought the 3750 a few days before Christmas at Walmart for $79 and picked up a 128 megs storage SD for another $15 . I already shot a couple hundred pics and really like the camera. Indoor or night shots are a little grainy, but it's prob my fault. I'm still tinkering with the bells and whistles. I've already recommended it to others who have bought it and like it.

Horrible picture quality
by wmdiaz ,Nov 27 '04
Pros: Easy to use, easy to upload pics Cons: HORRIBLE picture quality
I purchased this camera to replace my old Vivitar ViviCam 3500, which I'd dropped one too many times. I purchased the same brand because the picture quality on my old Vivitar was amazing. I've tried adjusting EVERY setting on this camera, and every single picture comes out GRAINY looking. I would compare it to watching TV without cable, and a channel that doesn't come in clear with a lot of snow. I'm returning this camera. It wasn't difficult to use or upload pictures to my PC, but none of that matters to me if the pictures are this horrible.
