I bought this TV on black Friday 2003 from Best Buy for $899. I use it all the time and have had no problems in the over 3 years I have had this set. I am also happy to have the HD DVI input which supports 1080i. I can easily hook up my PC to this TV.

When I first got this TV I used the audio on the TV adding only a subwoofer and the sound was amazing. A year later I bought a surround system so I no longer use the TV's audio. The remote is easy to use and setup is simple.

The picture is also great.

I would recommend this TV.

Cons: Poor durability. Make sure you buy an extended warranty.

I have owned this one for 22 months and it has been in the shop 3 times. Once for a sound problem, once for a ballast problem and now the color is gone.

Pros: Nice picture (while it lasted)
Cons: Died an ugly death after 13 months

13 months after I bought it, it will cost more to fix it than what I paid for it. Apparently this is a fairly common problem due to a design flaw with the light engine.

We own a 2003 Zenith D52WLCD 52 in. Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television. We bought it new from Conn's. We have had no problems with this set. It is light and easy to move. We also have the stand that goes with it and it makes a nice set in our greatroom. I would highly recommend this product

This TV has design flaws in the light engine that will cause it to fail. Zenith is not the same company it once was. It is now owned by Korean LG Electronics. Their customer service is not good, their repair service is not good, their products are not good. Buy a Japanese television instead. Trust me, I've been through this one.

This television has design flaws in the light engine that cause it to fail after about a year. Mine failed after 8 months so it was still under warranty. But after 3 months in the shop it is still not repaired. The repair shop keeps ordering parts, but apparently not the right ones.
