Baskin Robbins has great tasting ice cream and plenty of flavors to choose from. My favorite was always their chocolate shakes. The last 2 times I bought one, at separate locations, they made it with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla which totally changes the taste. After complaining on both occasions, I learned that this is how they make them now. I now have to order them and request it to be made with vanilla ice cream. No big deal but this shows me that the new faces that have been buying their franchise stores do not have the high standards of service that I grew up with at Baskin Robbins. What a shame!

For many years, Baskin-Robbins has been my favorite ice cream store. They gave us big scoops, and if I really wanted a big one I asked for 2 scoops, which was often more than I could handle. As with everything, the prices went up and the scoops got smaller, but the quality stayed the same.
Since I am a diabetic, Ice cream is usually not on my list of foods, and I only get it on very special occasions. Last night my husband decided I needed cheering up, so he took me to the Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin Donuts store on Ford road in Canton, mi. I asked for 2 scoops in a cup. The cup the server got was very small, and I asked my husband how he could get 2 scoops in it. (It was the small carton, about 1 cup size). I paid $3.38 for it, and he put it in a bag. When I got home I opened it, and the cup was 1/2 full, which amounted to 1/2 cup of ice cream. Needless too say I was very disappointed.
