by Bruguru Bruguru is a Lead on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Mar 07 '04
Pros: Fresh veggies, hot soups, reasonable prices.
Cons: At least one of the soups was disagreeable.
Are you tired of the same old burgers and fries for lunch? Do you yearn for a healthier alternative to fried fast food that won’t bust the budget in the process? If you do, my friends, I have some good news for you. The local Souper! Salad! ...

Nothing Souper, but the Prices are Excellent and the Food is Agreeable

by Bryan_Carey Bryan_Carey is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, May 19 '08
Pros: Low prices; Quick to get in and out; Kids under four eat free
Cons: Most food is average; No atmosphere
I’m not a big fan of buffet style restaurants. I like the wide open selection of food items and the self- service aspect makes it easy to get the exact portion sizes to fit one’s desires. But I still tend to avoid buffets because the temptation/tendency ...

Souper Salad: Neither Super Soup nor Super Salad but Good Wraps

by quasar quasar is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Apr 03 '06
Pros: good wraps, free water in some locations, surprisingly filling wraps
Cons: Massachusetts locations not all-you-can-eat, don't close bottom of wraps, expensive, charge for extra condiments
While they're all called Souper Salad, there are actually two different types of Souper Salad restaurants. One offers a large, all-you-can-eat salad bar that can be purchased in combination with soup, a baked potato, a half-sandwich, or other typical ...

I'll take the soup er no maybe the salad... Get both and eat cheaply

by jo.com Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Aug 19 '04
Pros: Great variety of decent food at an amazing price.
Cons: Functional; you won't get any ambiance here.
This was the second time in the recent past that we ate at Souper Salad. Last winter we ate in one in Florida. This is a chain restaurant. There are about 135 in 16 states. I am reviewing the Souper Salad in which we ate most recently. If you have ...

Soup or Salad? You can have both at Souper Salad

by trailhound Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Mar 14 '08
Pros: Excellent salad bar.
Cons: Non-salad foods were mediocre. Outdated decor and noisy atmosphere.
I recently stumbled across a Souper Salad restaurant in the "University Hills'' neighborhood in Denver. Since it was about lunchtime and I vaguely remembered some reviews about the place here on Epinions, I decided to give it a try. Overview ...

Souper Healthy or Souper Not

by DREAH , Mar 07 '03
Pros: lots of healty choices
Cons: no meat choice, heavy on the salt
Since I joined weight watchers on December 26th of this past year, I have found that my choices when eating out are severely limited. I have had to give up many of my favorite restaurants and limit my choices at the others, so I was delighted when I had...

I've always wondered; is low-fat thousand island dressing five-hundred island dressing?

by scmrak Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Jul 16 '01
Pros: good value for the price; you can tailor your plate to eat healthy
Cons: heavy hand with the salt; apparently indifferent to vegetarians
More than anything, our journey reminded me of the opening scene of some old black and white movie, where The Quest! is chronicled by a figure gliding slowly across a parchment map, brown with age. You know the image -- that precise scene appears...

Pros: Great food and good place for kids ot eat at
Cons: Cant stay there all day too eat
This restaurant is top of the line in my book. Where can you find such a place to eat where you can pick your own food and not worry about someone screwing up your order? You can go through the veggie bar and pick and leave anything you want to. Starting...

Amazing Grazing?

Pros: Best money-making investment in the market...
Cons: Where's the beef...
Whoever invented this place came up with the greatest score since I got into roofing sales after a hailstorm here in SA. A fool and his money are soon parted, saith the Lord, so how do you go about fleecing yuppies? Simple. They're all weight-conscious...

A Wonderful Alternative to Fast Food

by kanike2000 , May 20 '00
Pros: Healthy, affordable, quick, and just the way you want it!
Cons: Can have long lines at lunchtime if in busy business area
A Souper Salad popped up about 2 years ago close to where I work and, all of a sudden, we were hooked. Timewise, we never had to worry about slow service and could get in, eat, and head back to work in about 40 minutes.
For those of us trying to...

Delicious & Delightful.

by BlackCat2 , Aug 30 '00
Pros: Excellent fresh food, great service and reasonable prices
Cons: There is not one in the town where I live. :(
Delicious is for the food at Souper Salad. I always got the buffet when me and my husband worked together in Austin, Texas. I was impressed by several things on my very first visit.

1. Cleanliness of the plates was the...

King of the salad bars

by jamiedavis , May 03 '00
Pros: cheap and delectable
Cons: I think they might water down the ranch dressing
Salad is my thing, so naturally I know the best places to go get one. Souper Salad is at the top of my list. You walk in, you grab a tray, a plate, silverware, napkins, and you take off to fill your plate with whatever your heart desires.

So where does one take a brood of eight or more ???? Souper Salad, of course.

by AMEsMomE , Oct 25 '00
Pros: Great food, kids love it, nice selection
Cons: No meat for the hubbies, cleanliness issues
Souper Salad came to our town last Spring (2000). My kids and I decided to try it, my husband would have nothing to do with it.

My kids and I fell in love with this place the first time we went.

The adult menu is $4.79. For that...
