Pros: Satellite TV/radio, good legroom, nice snacks and beverages Cons: Totally changed and messed up our itinerary 2 weeks before trip
I just had my first experience with JetBlue - I was excited because I'd heard such great things about the airline and I could not wait! But unfortunately things did not go as planned. First, I paid a little extra for a DIRECT flight - again, I was super ...

Pros: Excellent customer service - proactive No fees, free snacks/unlimited drinks Free DirectTV/XM radio, newer planes STILL competitive rates!!! Cons: Had a delayed flight a few weeks back
Okay - I was already a fan of JetBlue. They have a program where after 18 flights or so, you get a round-trip flight free. They are also the official airline of the Boston Red Sox. They also don't charge for a first luggage bag; they've never had a ...

JetBlue Airways: Enjoyable flights
by chicopoopy ,Dec 02 '06
Pros: Free television, free non-alcoholic beverages, fast flights, and friendly staff. Cons: Blue chips, cramped seating, late night flights.
I have taken at least 15 JetBlue flights from coast to coast. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The flights themselves were smooth and short, compared to other airlines. I really wish there was more of a snack choice though. After approx. 30 bags of blue chips and cheetos mix I can't stand either anymore. I like that they serve free non-alcoholic beverages and television. I think the reason the tickets were so inexpensive was because there was only one time slot for departures, both ways. Overall I really prefer JetBlue to any other airline I have tried.

Cannot Handle Any Changes
by frequentflyer8 ,Dec 28 '06
Pros: Nothing Cons: Inability to handle stress or accept responsibility.
Let's just say that my 72 hour epic journey with JetBlue was a horrible experience. They are not worth traveling -- when things go wrong this airline cannot get it right. My flights experienced 2 nonworking jetways and many delays that were not weather caused. And the staff when you get stranded can provide no assistance: no hotel recommendations, no hotel reservations, NOTHING! Not worth flying.

Wishing All Airlines Were "JetBlue"
by worldlyman ,Nov 27 '06
Pros: Excellent equipment, great experience, good service Cons: None!
I like this airline so much I bought their stock! I fly fairly frequently and JetBlue has become my favorite airline. Clean airplanes, nice people good and abundant drinks and snacks makes even delayed flights tolerable. Why can't the others get it right? I used to be a top tier flier on their key competition, now I don't fly them except to use up the points I collected.

What a find!
by basykes1 ,Oct 16 '04
Pros: Affordable, comfortable, non-stop Cons: Only a red-eye going east, no meal.
Jet Blue has just begun service from Sacramento to New York, running only one flight daily (one in, one out). On a recent trip to The Big Apple, we decided to give it a try. What a fantastic trip!
The trip west to east is a red eye, which is OK for me, especially since it was non stop. In these days of hubs where you fly from San Francisco to Minnesota to Miami in order to get to Dallas (ok--slight exaggeration), being able to get on in one city and off in the next without making any side trips was a delight.
The plane was roomier than most, quite comfortable, and with those great little imbedded TV sets in the seat in back of you.
No meal, of course--planes are getting away from that these days--but a nice assortment of snacks, and a friendly crew offering seconds if you want.
In short, this was a delightful experience and I'd do it again in a minute, if my life takes me to New York again.

A Blue Believer
by kandc ,Mar 10 '05
Pros: Sincerely friendly staff (such a rarity!)
Assortment of snacks, comfortable seats & Direct TV Cons: Limited cities - but hopefully as they grow that will change!
Just took my first JetBlue flight and was so impressed with it I decided to write a review! It was a long flight, but I have never experienced such friendly staff and comfortable seats. They must have poured a lot of money into training their staff, and it certainly shows!

horrible service, lying representatives
by ahsereco ,Aug 29 '08
Pros: I can´t think of any. The original price was $50 cheaper than American... Cons: Bad attitude, horrible (if any) food in a 4 hours flight, worst flying attendants ever.
I´m writing this after having travelled in Jet Blue for the very last time. My flight to Santo Domingo was pretty bad, the cheapness of the airline exposed every step of the way, but even worse than that is that I got robbed by the airline representatives in Santo Domingo (Luis Villalona Mateo), who failed to inform me about 250 extra bucks they were charging to my credit card for a change of flight, adding insult to injury with their insufferable attitude during the fraudulent transaction. The charge only showed up in my credit card statement, and when I called Jet Blue they told me that the whole thing was absolutely correct, and that I was probably lying to them about being misinformed by their representatives. I´m thoroughly disgusted with my Jet Blue experience and I´ll save whatever money they were goin to make off me in the future (I fly at least once a month) to spend on any other airline. I promised myself those would be a very expensive $250 for them to make.

Jet Blue is So Cool...Hurricanes and More!!!
by Siwinis ,Sep 06 '04
Pros: Friendly caring service at price that can't be beat. Cons: No frills travel but what do you want for the price!
Okay, I haven't written a review in a while but I had to say something about Jet Blue. I had to change a flight because of Hurricane Francis. When I called Jet Blue to change my flight I was only on hold about 11 minutes and that's during a hurricane. Because of bridge closings etc I ended up having to change my flight 4 more times and EVERY time they were fast, friendly and the changes were free of any penalties or fees. The rate for the flight was already only $60 from NYC to FLA. I just think fast, friendly service like the customer service given by Jet Blue needs to be given kudos. It may be a no frills airline but they really do their best to make travel easy and affordable. I've paid 10x the price for lower quality service. Jet Blue has friendly employees, these guys actually seem like they care. If you looking for fast affordable travel, Jet Blue can't be beat, no way. Thanks for the read.

Damaged Luggage
by tulsaland ,May 06 '08
Pros: nothing Cons: luggage damaged
Every time I have flown Jet Blue they have damaged my luggage. The most recent time our flight was a late night arrival. Our luggage was broken but there was no one there to report it to due to the late hour. Their policy is that you must report and file a claim within 4 hours. Impossible to do at midnight when ONT is a ghost town. Bad customer service.

I LOVE JETBLUE AIRWAYS
by littledude1993 ,Nov 21 '09
Pros: nice planes (tv's etc.), on time, low priced, convenient, kind employees Cons: none that I can think of!
Jetblue is the best airline in the United States, in my opinion. The airline and its employees go out of their way to make my travel experience a great one. I love their new T5 at JFK, so luxurious! I hate flying, but when I'm on Jetblue's planes, I love to fly! I seriously recommend this airline to any other. On time, cheap, and convenient for anyone, especially families.

Sh*t Blue is all I can say
by dan3232 ,Aug 28 '08
Pros: zero Cons: Extrememly limited locations and stops Horrible Sutomer Service Long wait times on phone
After being stuck in Bermuda for two days at my charge by Jet Blue - if anyone remembers the fiasco where some poor sobs got stuck on the tarmack by Jet Blue for 12 hours - you will quickly realize why this company should have been penalized by the airline industry. Quite simply the WORST Customer Service team. I was given vouchers that were good for one year which didnt even cover the cost of my extra charges. I called to force a vacation so I could use them and was told they had been extended to give me time to plan a trip - I call three months later and now they are no good :( I will never fly these guys and they did nothing to help a patron of theirs albiet a no one in their eyes - I use Alaska Air - the best player out there. I travel every other week - praise for Alaska Air - Zero stars for Jet Blue

Direct, Fairly Roomy
by lananas ,May 16 '08
Pros: Cheap Tickets, Drinks and Snacks, Better Seats Cons: Charge more for the most roomy seats
I flew with Jet Blue from Boston to Ft.Lauderdale before and it was a lot better than most airlines. The tickets are relatively inexpensive, depending on the day you fly. I'm flying with them again in July, and the ticket was only $99 each way. The seats have more room than other airlines for coach, but not like you would think since that's what they're always advertising. Now they have rows where the seats have 38 inches of pitch, but cost $15 more. Overall however I would fly with Jet Blue because they're cheaper than others, have direct flights for the majority of their destinations, and offer brand name drinks, and snacks that you can take as often as you'd like.
