Pros: Southern Caribbean itinerary, excellent service, great size rooms, plenty to do on the ship. Cons: Food and entertainment, embarkation was a problem, many elevators out of service
We arrived at the San Juan port at 2:25 on Nov. 4. Embarkation was a disaster. The line was out of the building, out to the street. We were told that due to problems with Customs when the ship arrived in the morning, embarkation had not yet begun. ...
Pros: The ship layout was very accommodating. The food was unreal and the entertainment was fabulous. Cons: The only con I could think of was that my spa treatment ended to soon.

Pros: Great trip, Great food, Great service Cons: none
I went on this cruise in 1991 as a college graduation gift. It was absolutely wonderful!!! I went in January on a 7 day cruise and the ship stopped at 5 ports including: Barbados, Martinique, St. Marten, Mayreau, and St. Thomas.
Pros: Good food Cons: Tooooo many people, no diversity
FIRST: This boat is HUGE. It is 18 stories tall, a city block wide and an avenue long. It holds about 3500 people. 3400 of them are white. 98 are black. 2 are "other." Guess which two? Getting on the boat was a breeze. If you arrive toward the latter ...
Pros: First class travel Cons: Average age seemed about 70
On my list of places that I would love to visit, the Panama Canal was never at the top of the list. In fact, I don't remember it even being on the list; however, the opportunity came for a cruise on Princess and not being the foolish sort, we went....
Pros: Sails well in heavy seas, still looks good from outside. Cons: Ship feels disjointed, stodgy food, very limited deck space.
It is with a little regret that I write about Crown Princess. You see, I used to work on her as a member of the shop staff team. I would never have written about her if there had been even one other non-recommendation but, since there isn't, I feel I...
Pros: lots to do, incredible cuisine, Cons: none except those with queasy stomachs may need a motion sickness medicine

Pros: outdoor movie theater with great sound, great invited guest entertainers, great staff Cons: only "warm" coffee in main dining rooms, unequal air-conditioning,
This was my 8th cruise so I jumped at the chance to be on an inaugural cruise, June 14th on the Crown Princess. Previously I had been on the old “Love Boat” from the TV series, the Pacific Princess. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the ceiling ...
Pros: Great rooms. Nice balconies for the price. Cons: Food and Service. You pay for EVERYTHING on the ship.
I just read a lot of great reviews for the Crown Princess. I started to think that I might have been on the wrong ship for seven days. Yes, the Crown Princess does have some pretty sterling reviews on Epinions, but look closely -- most of them were ...
Pros: I got home in one piece Cons: Service, Food, Ports of Call, Ship.
I don't care what label they slapped on this ship, its a Carnival cruise ship so don't be fooled. 1) SERVICE - the pits, the staff was miserable which made the passengers miserable. The staff to passenger ratio is about 10 to 1 and they treated the ...
Pros: Clean, comfortable cabins, excellent customer service Cons: Traveling with 1600 other people
My husband and I cruised on the Crown Princess from Ft Lauderdale to the Panama Canal Zone and back to Florida in October of 1999. This was an excellent experience for us. The ship was clean, the food was good and the service was outstanding. We...

We were on the Crown Princess for the 08/06/07 sailing.(06/08/07 for you americans) First, the bad things that we didn't expect. 1. The toilet stopped working and overflowed and they took their time in coming to fix it. 2. The air conditioning ...

Pros: Nice large roomy cabins Cons: Treatment by crew was appalling.
I took the Crown Princess in March of 1999 from the Hawaiian Islands to Tahiti with several island stops along the way. The price was a two for one special which almost seemed to good to be true! Needless to say, it was. This was the last cruise for...

Pros: Everything you want in one location! Cons: Not good for people who get seasick!
Five years ago my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary the stereotypical way - we took a cruise to the Caribbean! When given a choice of ships at the travel agency there was never a question in my mind as to which cruise line we'd use -...
CROWN PRINCESS REVIEW - Take a cruise of a Lifetime by rincanasi ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: excellent onboard facilities, highly trained staff, child friendly Cons: Ensure to book the main restaurant for evening dinner to ensure getting a place
The Crown Princess is registered in Bermuda and is a luxury liner with excellent amenities, food, services and is child friendly. There is an innovative kid's program, exquisite spa, magnificent dining areas, wonderful public rooms, a cinema, spacious outdoor sitting areas, elegant cabins, great excursions and is overall an excellent value for money cruise.
This ship was designed to cruise all year round and combined with its excellent on-board facilities and highly trained friendly staff you are assured a cruise to remember. Your dining experiences include everything from black tie to outdoor lunch and every taste and pocket is catered for. So, what are you waiting for. Take a cruise of a lifetime
Don't go...... you will regret spending the $$ by cruiser92672 ,Aug 18 '07
Pros: Food is good Cons: Too many passengers. Always standing in line. Not worth the money.
This is NOT a fun ship --- although it did remind me of a Carnival Cruise. What a disappointment! There are too many passengers for the common area space --- with the exception of the pool area -- you can always find a lounge chair there. We missed most of the entertainment/shows because we could not get a seat. The ports are disorganized and again we found ourselves waiting in line to get on and off the ship (in Bermuda we waited 2 hours, in line, to get back on board). We were on the July 23, 2007 sailing. We have travelled on most of the cruise lines and this is our only cruise disappointment.
All I can say is shame on you, Princess Cruise Lines, for accommodating your greed before accommodating your passengers comforts and safety.
Baltic Cruise on Crown Princess by trvlguy66 ,Dec 06 '08
Pros: beautiful ship, unique layout, lots of choice but having a small ship feel Cons: coffee, service a little inconsistent in dining room
Working as a professional travel consultant (http://www.carlhenderson.ca) I was on board the Crown Princess escorting a group of 16 family and friends and we were all thrilled with the experience. The Crown is a gorgeous ship with a great variety of venues for dining and entertainment.
Cabins are excellent being a good size, tastefully decorated and a nice amount of storage space. I loved the open closet concept so we didn't have to worry about doors swinging open and giving your cabin that more cramped feeling as you bump into each other trying to get ready.
The Baltic Itinerary sailing from Copenhagen is incredible. Visiting so many different countries and unique ports with of course a 2-day stay in St. Petersburg being one of the highlights. Each port is so incredibly different and unique with many of them easy to walk around and explore on your own.
If anyone is sailing from Copenhagen, make sure you add at least a couple days pre or post cruise to explore this great city too - beautiful with friendly people and easy to get around. A highlight of the trip for me.
