Pros: Drinking age makes the barely-legal LEGAL! People there are cool as shit. Cons: Food is ridiculously expensive. The island climate gets kind of windy, and you have to take a cab to Oranjestad if you want to avoid staying in all night.
Aruba is one of the greatest places I've ever been to, and I've been to half the world. I went for two weeks in July of '99 with a couple friends and I had the greatest time of my life. I swear to god you can't p*ss off the people there because they're...

Pros: Beautiful setting for a wedding Cons: You must be married in your country of origin first
If you are thinking about getting married in Aruba, you may find it is more difficult then you would think.. Aruba has some very restrictive laws on marrying on the island:
- Civil Marriages are not allowed unless one of the partners is...

Pros: Food was delicious, sunshine was bright and the pool was cold. Cons: Sunburn-use lots of lotion-SPF 20+
My trip took place September 24 to October 5, which means eleven days of sun and fun. It did rain a few times, but only lasted about five to ten minutes. An hour later, you couldn't even tell that it did rain.
The hotel we, my fiancee and I,...

Pros: beautiful beaches, great snorkeling, friendly people Cons: not many "destinations"
I went to Aruba with my boyfriend during a vacation break in college a few years ago. It truly is an island paradise. We took our trip through the ATA tours. They took care of everything, which was nice not to have to worry about details like...

Pros: great food Cons: so many choices!
So many choices, so little time! When you arrive in Aruba for the first time, you'll probably be amazed by all the American chain restaurants you recognize: Wendy's, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, TCBY, Dunkin' Donuts...there's even a Hooters, for...

Pros: Great time, new experiences, relaxation Cons: Pricey, and the cabbies
We visited Aruba in October 1998, and I can't wait to go back. The weather was perfect, and the flight in was smooth and not too long.
We started this trip several months before, by making sure we had our passports, and any shots that needed...

Pros: Beach Diving the people Cons: Super expensive Nothing to do Bad Food Dumpy hotels General population old and retired
To set the stage: I am a world traveller, I average more than 100K air miles a year and have been to almost every island in the Caribbean. I stay at hotels weekly and have eaten in the best places in most US cities and Europe, hence I have some ...

Pros: great beaches Cons: can be a bit pricey
I have been to several islands in the Caribbean, but Aruba is by far my favorite. The climate is hot, but it is not unbearable because of the dry air. Although Aruba is great for catching a great tan, sun block with a high sun protection factor...

Pros: beautiful beaches, beautiful weather and just a great place to relax Cons: it may be expensive to travel there, just because it is quite far away, but it is worth while
Aruba, Aruba, Aruba. Can you say Aruba? Well if so you are speaking merely of the little, quiet, happy island of Aruba. You can spend your days there either relaxing under the sun's rays or swimming in the beautiful calm waters of the Caribbean. Aruba...

Pros: Endless stretches of white sandy beach Cons: Natural Bridge is gone. Customs lines @ airport; long lines, long wait!
I love to travel. Traveling affords us the opportunity to step out of a fast paced world and into a place of total relaxation and serenity. Oahu and Aruba comprise two of my personal favorite Island experiences. Since Oahu has already been a ...

Pros: Beautiful weather, good food, good people all equals a great time. Cons: Main area is very Americanized (McDonald's, Subway, etc all available)
My husband and I went to Aruba last month for our honeymoon. We stayed at La Cabana (on Eagle Beach) and had a wonderful time. The whole vacation went very well, from landing to leaving. What is nice about this time of year, is that it never really...

Pros: Beautiful Beaches. Crystal clear water. Great restaurants. Cons: Can be a bit too windy at times.
We went for our 2 year anniversary in September of 02. Decided to go there because air fare was so reasonable. We booked a condo at The Caribbean Palm Village, through Interval International. It was $525 for the week. We stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom...

Pros: Beautiful beaches, clear blue water, consistently good weather, and tastey food! Cons: I forgot to apply bug spray and got bit up one night.
About 3 years ago I heard a commercial over the radio for Aruba, describing it as an island that experiences weather forecasts of 82 degrees everyday, with an island breeze, no mosquitoes, and no hurricanes. I decided that would be my next big vacation....
