Pros: Have fun, take a break from gambling, see the strip, and bring the kids Cons: Not everything is free, but it will cost
less than gambling
I have recently heard Las Vegas referred to as "Disneyworld with gambling" since all the renovation has taken place. Thus, I was hopeful that maybe we could find something to do during the day, as nights were devoted to shows, food, and gambling.

Pros: Great Shows, Arcades, Games, and Environment Cons: Everything is centered around gambling
I recently joined my parents on a trip to Vegas. I expected to spend a lot of time sitting in my hotel room while everyone else was gambling. Fortunately, this was only half true. While there were occasions where I would be forced to stay in the...

Pros: Huge, Very nice Cons: Still crowded with people
This casino was the world's largest hotel, casino, and theme park. I was very impressed. At this casino, I could go gambling while my kids go to the theme park. This was such a relief. Their was also a mini-mall with lots of little stores to go into. My...

Pros: fun fun fun Cons: no easy way to get around
The "Strip", or Las Vegas Blvd, is a wide roadway in Las Vegas lined with large hotels/casinos. The Strip essentiall runs from the Mandalay Bay at the south end to the Stratosphere (space needle) at the north end. Overall this is probably a...

Pros: Such a large variety of things to do Cons: Lots of people and can be crowded with conventions
Las Vegas is well known for it's gambling, but there is so much to do there. It makes for a great family vacation as well as the gambling capital of the world. There are lots of free things to do as well. My top list of things to see on the strip that...

Pros: Friendly service, immaculate accomodations Cons: Price is higher than most
Last December my husband and I got married in Las Vegas and spent our honeymoon at The Mirage. I have never stayed at a more luxurious hotel in my life!
From the huge volcano out front, to the aquarium that runs the full length of the hotel...

Pros: Very Pretty Chapel, Affordable Packages Cons: Receptions are expensive
When I was looking for a place to get married in Las Vegas I went to almost every single wedding chapel on the strip. I went to the ones in and out of the hotels. I finally found one that was sure to make my day special. We chose the Canterbury...

Pros: Excellent service, beautiful hotel Cons: None really
We had the opportunity to escape into fantasyland for 7 days - the summer of 1998. I remember it like it was yesterday. This doesn't happen too often for us!! :) We stayed at The Mirage. We've been to Vegas numerous times before and always like to stay...

Pros: casinos, clubs, beautiful sites, you name it it's in Vegas Cons: if you get carried away can be very expense and hotel are hassle
I went to Vegas and had the time of my life. Vegas is non-stop action and fun. It is the only place in the US that you can walk around with $500 and not be afraid of getting robbed. It's so big that we only covered 1/4 only of the strip. We ate at the...

Pros: Eye-popping sights and seductive sounds Cons: Pamphlet-pushers
The "Strip"...ALL OF IT! It is candy for the eyes and music to the ears. From the moment we get to "Sin City" to the minute we ruefully say "goodbye" for another year, we are treated to the explosion of glitter and glamor of...

Pros: Magnificent resort, center of strip Cons: Everything tends to be pricey, and the gondolas are cheesy.
It seems Vegas continues to build more and more theme styled resorts. Not all of them hit the mark in my book. Some might be fun or cool to stay or visit once but after that it gets old. Well, the Venetian most definitely hits the mark and I consider it...

Pros: Fabulous Entertainment Cons: Nothing Nothing Nothing!!
The Danny Gans show is one of the must-see shows in Las Vegas. He is currently performing at Paris, but we saw him last year when he was still performing at the Rio.

Two summers ago my family and I went on a great vacation to California. On the trip, we spent 2 nights on the Strip in Las Vegas. The Strip is a great place to go as a family. There are stores there that everyone in the family would enjoy. And lots...
