Lose 20, Gain 40!

Pros: I did lose weight (temporarily) Cons: I gained double 10 months off the plan!
You will lose weight while on this diet, but as soon as you get off it you won't believe how fast you regain it all and lots more! The food isn't so bad but there isn't much of a selection so if you need to lose a lot of weight you will get sick of these foods pretty fast. The foods cost about $100.00 a week! Anyway, the first time I went on this diet I lost 40 pounds in 4 months, got off the diet and put on 80 in ten months! A few year later I figured maybe I would try again and this time be more careful when I got off. Well lost 25, now 6 months later the 25 is back on! I think I'm going to give Weight Watchers a try!

Pros: Strict diet and supportive associates. Cons: Food did not taste very good and I was hungry all of the time.
Personally I did not care for the Jenny Craig diet. I found it to be expensive for what I got out of it. Yes, I lost a few pounds, but the food was horrible and I was starving all of the time. Likewise, it was difficult to stick to the diet when I traveled as it was not as flexible as others. I think that this program is great for the support that the associates give to dieters, so this diet may work for some. However, I needed a more flexible diet.

Pros: It is easy. It also moves you into maintenance ultimately promoting a life style change. Cons: Probably the cost, but I was buying unhealthy groceries; it's was more than worth it.
I have spent my life on diets. I have done them all. I, in fact, was put on my first diet at 7. It wasn't a good experience. About 10 years ago I gave up and said I wasn't going to diet again. And I meant it.
Well last year I was up to 295lbs and my body, which has been very good to me, was starting to complain. So I tried Jenny Craig. I hadn't tried that program before and had heard good things.
Well, in 9 months I have lost 92lbs. I found the program made it very simple for me, no thinking involved. As an overeater I needed something that just told me what to do. It also follows the food pyramid so all foods are incorporated.
I also started exercising with my counselors encouragement which I never did before...never.
I love my counselor, appreciate the program.
There is no one and only way though, it all comes down to less calories and exercise and with those two things we will all become healthier.

Pros: Good Food. Im not tired of the food yet. Cons: Expensive, have to convince the counselor not to use the planned week meal.
I{ve been only 2 weeks and I´ve seen results, I already lost 10 pounds. Food is Good. I have to lost 40, but I got the 20 per 20 offer.. just to loose this first 20. Ill let you now how it was.

LOVED JENNY CRAIG!!!

Pros: Convenient, healthy, and tasty food. Very easy to follow... Cons: The platinum membership is expensive but what price can you put on your health??
I started Jenny Craig (the 20 lbs for $20 or 10 weeks) on 7/7/06 and ended on 9/13/06. I lost 21 lbs during those 10 weeks and have 10 more lbs to go to get to goal. I was very happy with most of the food, other than a few items that just were not for me. I was very pleased with my consultant as well. I prefer the one on one consultation to Weight Watchers group meetings. I also really enjoyed not having to "think" about what I was eating in the beginning. Once you get used to the diet, they begin to show you how to do meals on your own, which was the best advice I've ever gotten. I have never been able to stick to a diet or take life-long habits away from a diet, which I have done with Jenny Craig. When I go out to eat now, I consistently choose healthy meals and have changed my whole outlook on why/how I eat. I still have lots to learn but this diet has changed my life.

Pros: Good food....
teaches portion control. Cons: some of the food is pricey....but you don't have to buy it.
I have been on the Jenny Craig weight loss program since 1/07....I love it, I have lost 42lbs so far. it is easy to follow the program, I choose my own menus, and I buy Jenny's food for 4 out of the 7 days for a week...the other 3 days I plan my own menu and use regular food(they teach you how to plan your own meals)....You can do this...I am on a budget, and cannot afford a weeks worth of meals, if you ask to see the price list(its not a big secret) they will give you one, and then you can choose your foods....I am a "Jenny Rewards" member, it cost me 319.00 for 1 year plus the cost of food...but I now recieve a 30% discount on all food purchased....My consultant is great, she lost 50lbs with Jenny, and has kept it off for more than 10 years.....The program works, and I find it no more costly than any of the other weight loss programs out there....and believe me I have tried them all......
